This seems to be the best place to go for thermal baths! Wonderful atmosphere; great temperatures; friendly staff; possible to bring drinks from the bar into the pool areas. Traditional feel with rocks lining the pools rather than just feeling like a standard swimming pool. Variety of temperatures in different areas. Good changing room facilities and showers. Excellent experience - hope to visit again!

An amazing way to unwind and relax while on holiday. We are not skiers so was a fantastic place to pass the day during the snow. Has 3 different types of pools at all different temperatures. You can have you pint or glass of local wine in the water with you which made it even more enjoyable 😉

We went over for dinner here in their restaurant - been going every year for the past 10 years.  It’s lovely is always with the friendliest servers.  The menu has changed as has everywhere else but still very reasonable!  Food was delicious. We had chicken soup, bean soup, Chicken Julienne and Chicken liver village style all spot on! Plus wine and beer and desert! Paid 40lev!!

What a great place to visit just 30 minutes after our arrival in Bansko.
We drove from Montenegro to visit our friends in Bansko for the New Year and the first thing they did was whisk us off to these springs. My wife, my 7 year old daughter and I absolutely loved it.
The cash machine wasn't working and as we had just arrived after travelling all day we were allowed beer and hospitality until a cashpoint and cash was found. Euros weren't allowed. 
The hot springs and extra hot pool were amazing as was the beer I drunk whilst luxuriating myself in the hot springs. We met and talked to many random people in such a friendly environment.
The only downside was that the restaurant was full when we left so 8 of us had to go elsewhere to dine. The food looked amazing and I was informed as much.
I can highly recommend this place for an afternoon or evening. If we visit again we will be back. 

It was such a shame to have no snow in Bansko last week, but our trip to the hot springs was organised through getyourguide.  It was incredibly reasonable and well worth it.  The drinks are cheap and the food was really good too (spag bol was £3.20 for a bowl…unbelievable)

No lockers to store belongings, so you have to take a rucksack or something poolside but hey

After a day skiing, this place is such a gem! Perfect to relax the muscles in and unwind. A must do! 

It cost us 20lev from Bansko each way, 15lev each for entry. With draught beers costing 2.50lev (and good kombucha  selection at 2.50lev too!) and bring allowed to enjoy them poolside we spent most of the day lounging in and out of the pools. The covered pool is about 40 degrees, main pool about 30 degrees.

I was able to leave my clothes and boots in the changing room (at my own risk) but felt fine to do so.

Would recommend bringing robes or towels from your hotel, or your own.

Wonderful morning of relaxation at the end of our family skiing holiday.
Friendly staff good facilities including towel and robe rental, value for money. Clean pools and changing rooms , excellent restauarant.

Visited these thermal baths alone whilst the rest of the  family were on the slopes .

Arrived around 11.30 am and only a family of 4 were in the pool.
Whilst this visit was very early March the outside temperature when entering and exiting the pool was pleasant 
Had been a little concerned as had read that there are no lockers in the changing room and that some thefts had occurred so would be best to keep your stuff by the pool which may have meant constantly looking at your bag. With so few people their this was not an issue.

The main pool is very large with a comfortable temperature and a flat bottom so no need for pool shoes.
The small pool which i understood to be for kids (2 foot deep) was far hotter along with  there  a Jacuzzi which is also rather hot.
After 90 minutes i took lunch, a main course and a large beer for around £4.
At this time the number of guests using the thermal springs had increased to around a dozen .

This experience was booked via a travel agent, return taxi to/ from Bansko  plus entrance to the complex was 30 Lev (around £13).

A great half day experience.

We took a taxi from our hotel in Bansko to the Izgreva - and had the most wonderful afternoon. Water is so warm and drinks allowed round the polside (in plasitc cups). To do amorning skiing and then relax, chat and drink wih others in a simple but clean outdoor pool - is amazing. AND great for aching legs. Changing facilities simple but clean. Bottom of pool smooth large stones - with ledge round edge to sit on. Take your own robe - as they don't have many. Also need flip flops.  We didn't use the restaurant but plenty did. We were there from 2:30 - 6pm and it was a good amount of time. Everyone pleasant and relaxed. Great place.

This is a review of the pools and restaurant not the rooms in the hotel.

The best thing after a day of skiing is to dunk yourself in a boiling hot thermal pool.  The Izgreva pools are built of large stones, nicely laid out in an outside courtyard.  There is a hot pool, a very hot pool and one more which looked too hot to try.  A gentle smell of sulphur filled the air.
Strip off, step in and R E L A X.  Let those aches and pains dissolve.
After our dip, we enjoyed a meal in the restaurant.  There was a good range of food (chicken satch and chicken “screwers” of particular positive note), served efficiently in nice surroundings – inside or out.
Anything to improve?  The changing rooms were cramped and would have benefited from showers.
The pools are in Bania, a short drive from Bansko.  Entry was very reasonable as was the food.
