Moments from the beach, greeted with a warm welcome, absolutely spotlessly clean and a completely delicious breakfast... what more could anyone want?! Decor is like visiting a mad aunt- floral, bright and quirky... and we loved that too! A perfect, great value stay

We loved this quirky little place- just like home

After staying at a nearby (and much noisier) hostel for two nights, I was really happy with my experience at Pedacinho do Ceu. It is well run, with neat, clean rooms and reliable internet. The hostel is picturesque, colourful and extremely well presented, and it is clear that the owners/ employees take great pride in its presentation. 

The staff are helpful and friendly, and compared to other Pousadas on the island it is well-priced. A great option if for those seeking a quiet, peaceful place to stay- but I would strongly recommend booking early.

Quaint and well-run Pousada

Pousada was very cozy and bright, perfect breakfast, extremely friendly and helpful staff and ideal location, close to the pier (300 m), beach and all restaurants. Rooms are small and simple, but clean. Ideal place for 1-3 nights stay.

Colorful and cozy pousada

We are travelling around South America as a late twenties/early thirties couple and we stayed in Pousada Pedachino de Céu in a private room for three nights.
I wanted to stay there after seeing the photos of the beautifully painted building with its gorgeous garden full of gnomes. And it was just as pretty in real life. In fact the whole place had a homely feel to it making it a wonderful place to stay. 
The owners are very friendly and accommodating and offered us space to store our bags, relax, shower etc after we'd checked out. 
The breakfast is really good: eggs, crusty rolls, sausages, cakes, coffee, fruit, juice. Just what we needed before hitting the trail on the hike over to Dois Rios or Lopes Mendes beaches. Both of these hikes are a must.
Location is perfect, less than 5 minutes from the port where all boats arrive. 
Couldn't have asked for more of this place.

Pretty and homely pousada with a good breakfast

Very quirky but lovely small pousada, multi-coloured and ornamental. Room small but adequate, breakfast very good, taken on the upstairs balcony overlooking the gardens and mountain. Central to bars, restaurants, shops. 2 mins walk to the beach, friendly staff, can hire beach towels.

Quirky accommodation

I stayed here recently for 2 nights. The rooms are quite small and basic but they're comfortable, with safe, TV and (noisy) air conditioning. There's a reasonable range of options at breakfast options, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
