My wife and I made reservations at this hotel for two nights following the classification "Reasonable" TripAdvisor. Unfortunately the experience was not good. The hotel staff is attentive and treated us well all the time. But the physical condition and cleanliness of the room we were given were very bad. The toilet lid was broken. When taking a bath, the water leaked from the box all over the bathroom floor. And finally, we were now ready to sleep when we found cockroaches in the room. We left the hotel almost at dawn to Victoria. If you want to know the beaches of Guarapari, stay in Victoria.

Doom Room

I was doing some field work in Brazil and needed a place to stay near Guarapari. This hotel came up as the finest hotel in town. The premises were very clean and very new, and there was free parking and wired internet in the room. My room had a nice view of the bay. The room itself was OK, although the built in desk was 6 inches too high for the provided chair. Also, the window unit AC was insufficient to keep the room cool. The breakfast was marginal with mostly a selection of sweet cakes and fresh fruit. 

In short, this was not up to the posted star level. If looking for a higher end hotel, go to the town of Guarapari itself where the selection of western style hotels is much greater. 

One added "benefit" of Meaipe is its radioactive beaches, which are quite hot!

Nice clean hotel, but not up to its stars

Typical Brazilian beach hotel with simple rooms but good infrastructure but W-LAN is very weak. Restaurant with surprisingly comprehensive wine list and good food. At least during off-season informal and very personalized service.
