60 reviewsIf you are like me, from the praries of North America it is hard to fathom the immensity of a "trip to the beach in Brasil". The beach areas are like cities away from the cities. Before you arrive at the fabulous beaches you want to ensure you are staying in a comfortable and secure place for the whole family. A Cabana at Pousada Port Belo provided just that. We were 5 and fit just right into our little cottage. Everything we needed was supplied and the staff were so friendly and helpful. It helped of course that my wife is a Brazilian. We could walk to the beach or to the main street of Bombinhas from the Pousada. We could drive within minutes to a number of wonderful beaches in the area. Fortunately we choose the perfect time to be there for 5 days - we left the peninsula on the 24th; there is only one 2 lane access highway and it can get backed up and jammed for hours! The Brazilians head in masse to the beach on the 25th. Back to the Pousada... the breakfast was good, the property clean and organised and the pool area very nice. We really enjoyed our stay at Porto Belo.
