I went there 4 nights with some friends. The staff is super friendly and the hostel is beautiful, we made several friends to enjoy our time in Aracaju.

The hostel is well located near several bars and restaurants, the best place to go out in the night. The staff also helped us book some tours in the city, always at a good price. The rooms are spacious and have air conditioning, which is necessary in the a city like Aracaju.

The breakfast is very good and not included, but we decided to take it everyday. Unfortunately, it goes only until 9am, so one needs to get up early to eat.

Friendly staff and beautiful place

Aju Histel was the best choice!!! The Staff are great, the breakfast is awesome and the environment is also great! I was there with my family (wife and my Kid 1 year and 10 months old) They Loved!  Mr Kuiz is the guy responsable to take us to the tours and he is a great guy!!1 You wont regrett if you stay here!

Very Cozy and Friendly

What do you need more than a nice room with a/c, clean beds and bathroom. Breakfast had everyday two different fresh juices, so you can experience the variety of Brazilian fruits. 
Two quarters away from the city beach of Aracaju. And you want to escape the city, you can book day trips to different destinations for a very reasonable price.

Very nice staff, near the beach and good rooms

I stayed at Aju Hostel for 3 weeks while visiting friends in Aracaju. The best part was the staff. Everyone who worked there immediately treated me like a friend, or even a brother. The hostel is beautiful, and very comfortable, and most days some little monkeys came down the trees to eat some fruit put out by the staff. The monkeys were the best part! Also the best, is that the hostel is three blocks away from the beach, so if you're looking for beach time, this is the place. Also extremely close is a super market, and plenty of restaurants. Can rent a bike, too, which is perfect for exploring up and down the orla (beach promenade.) And, as an English speaker, most of the receptionists spoke a good amount of English, so that was a plus, because not many people speak English in Aracaju. Great breakfast, too. I'll definitely be back - especially because they're holding my surfboard there for me! My only complaint was that the staff could be a bit loud at times... Brazilians make lots of jokes, and laugh a lot, but for someone who couldn't understand the language, this was a bit disruptive, say, when I'm trying to relax... All good vibes though ;-) Thanks Aju Hostel! Big hug, and I'll be back! :-D

A place to call home!

This hostel has all you need to feel comfortable! 

I'm traveling since more than 4 years (on and off) through Brazil and this was definitely one of the best hostels I've been so far, with a very skillful interior design.
The dorm rooms were very spacious and clean, the mattresses comfortable and the bunk beds very solid, the breakfast was delicious and sufficient, and the staff was super friendly. 
Last but not least, the owner and his family offered to take care about my dog in their private house while I was staying in the hostel. This was a very kind and warmhearted hospitality which I've never experienced with HI hostels before.
A big thank you to the great hospitality of Aju hostel and the family who is running it.
