bash and crash is a really cool party place with a good atmosphere and friendly stuff. I enjoyed my stay a lot and made  good friends , recommended . It is located close to the city center and has a lot of travellers

Cool place with good vibe 

We chose the bash and crash hostel because it was a very cheap option and the staff
Was nice (the only reason I give two stars). 
We stayed in a 6 bed dorm and it was the most stinky dorm I have ever been too. It smelled like people who hadn't washed themselves for some weeks.Also the washing rooms an der showers were extremely filthy, not a place I enjoyed going to.Also the vibe, but that changes for sure from day to day, was not so good. The breakfast was ok for the price, bread, butter and jam, but also the kitchen was disgusting, the stove was covered with old food for example.
I would not recommend this hostel an der I would recommend on spending some bolivianos more and therefor every having a clean hostel.

Dirty and stinky

Booked and paid for 3 nights but only stayed 1. It was the worst place I’ve ever stayed! The bed was old, dirty, lumpy, box spring broken. Pillows and sheets are nasty. I took a private room but the bathroom was so gross I didn’t even attempt a shower. Holes and leaks also in the bathroom. Incredibly dingy. No towel, no soap, no toilet paper. The worst part was the cafe that played bad music loudly ALL NIGHT LONG, even though there was only a handful of people in the cafe. I got no sleep even with the help of a sleep aid. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. They wouldn’t offer me any refund even though they could have booked the room again. Way too expensive as well (I paid $23/night. Stay away!

Worst place I’ve ever stayed

Hello,

My 4 friends and me slept in Bash and Crash Hostel for 2 nights.

We booked a 3 days-2 nights trip in Uyuni Salar with a seller in this hostel, thanks to the receptionits advices. The name of the agency is tunupa tours.

What a mistake ! It was 3 horribles days: our driver was drunk, irresponsible and disrespectful. He was everyday late, never talk with us.
We had a lot of problems with our 4x4: motor problem and wheel problem.
We lost a wheel in the middle of the South Lipez because our driver never tightened the bolts of the wheels. We had to do hitchhiking to go back to Uyunicity.
We called 3 times the agency in Uyuni.

Whan we came back to the agency at the end of the tour, doors were closed. The manager left in the morning to La Paz.
We asked to get back our money, but she gave only to 3 people, no more.

Please, don't go to this hostel and never go to Tunupa tour...

Don't go there

This is the worst hostel iv'e ever been to! The rooms stinks, messed and dusty, very crowdy and small, and the only 2 electricity connection doesn't work. The kitchen barely have any dishes to work with, the fire at the hoven doesn't work, there is no soap to clean the dishes and even the tap water there doesn't work. The showers are disgusting, the bathroom stink and there is no toilet paper. The hostel is always noisy and theres is no really a quiet place there (even at the "living room" someone just slept there). But the worst thing is that my personal belongings were stolen inside their lockers behind a lock, and all the staff did was saying that I lie about it and didn't do anything else beside that! Than they banished me from the hostel at 23:00 because I demanded them to give the money that my belonging's worth, but not only that they didn't pay me for that, they didn't even pay me for that night I paid! Please do yourself a favor and don't go to this hostel.
