We only stayed one night but it was nice and peaceful.
Laura is very nice and helpful.  Staff is great. 
We walked to a restaurant for dinner then wandered to the Ramada into the Princess casino.  Got late and took a cab back.
When we arrived we said we wanted to go to Bella Sombra.  We did not know to say Kings Park.  Cab took us into town to a crowded area and dropped us.  Luckily they called Laura and she came and got us.
We fly home today and have a Bella Sombra taxi friend (Daniel) picking us up.  Laura arranged that.  Very convenient.


Nice place

Clean accommodation, good kitchen facilities means this a good value Guest House.
It's within 5 minutes walking distance of the City Airport so great if you're flying to San Pedro.    Within 10 minutes walk to a Good restaurant but we were advised to take a taxi back after dark.

Ensure you get Bella Sombre at Kings Park, as there is another property with the same name in a central cit area.

Great location for City Airport

We stayed here for 1 night and we had a good stay. When we arrived, there was nobody who could speak Englisch, something to keep in mind.
The rooms are clean and spatious and the Wifi is fast. 
The area of the hotel feels/is very safe with lots of big, expensive houses.
Be aware that the hotel is not close to the city centre and the nearest restaurant is about 12 minutes walk and the nearest supermarket is a 7 minute walk. It would take half on hour to walk to the city center. But for us that was no problem and we had a good stay in the Bella Sombre Guest House Kings Park.

Nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood, far from cenre

I only stayed here for one night before departure back to Europe. 
The guesthouse is very clean and the staff is really nice. Laura is always in for a chat and very welcoming. The rooms are nice and spacious and have views on the garden. WiFi is good. Bathroom has warm water and they provide shampoo and all. Location could of course be better since it is a bit off center, but if you want that you chose the wrong hotel. Also you can use the kitchen if you want to. Overall I had a very good stay and I would recommend! 

Nice and clean

Bella Sombra is a basic hotel in Belize city. It offers clean but rather dark rooms. It has a good location for any person willing to fly to or from the Belize Municipal Airport, which is within 10 mins walking distance. Note that even though the neighborhood is quiet, there are no restaurants around, while the hotel does not offer other option for breakfast than self-catering. Furthermore, if you decide to walk downtown, make sure to return to the hotel around 5 pm or take a taxi on your way back, as a few robberies on travelers and local have been noted in the past (as we have been told prior to arrival to the hotel).
