Absolutely wonderful time in Bruges with an equally fabulous stay at The Contrast. Sam and Valerie are great hosts. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and excellent omelets! Rooms are spotless and warm.

Beautiful B&B in Bruges 

Situated just outside the bustling old city center, but only 10min walk from it all we found this gem.

An old townhouse, extended and remodelled in a modern style, cresting an interesting blend. I guess hence the name. Our 2nd story room was spacious, with its own sittingarea, well equipped and kept spotless everyday. TV, coffee/tee cooker and everything you need

Beakfast did not have the largest selection, but it had what most people want. Including eggs made in what ever way you like. Their ham and cheese omelett is to die for.

So for us the contrast to most other places are the lovely couple that own and run the place. They do anything to make you have the perfect stay it seems. They are the icing on the cake.

What a contrast to most other B&B

We had a wonderful stay at Contrast B & B. Cathy and Dries were so welcoming and friendly and ensured we had a smooth arrival. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean. The location was excellent and close to all the sights. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast which was always delicious with a choice of eggs, beautiful fresh bread, meat, cheese, fruit and cereals. We couldn’t have asked for more! We definitely hope to return again to Bruges and would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Fantastic location!

Absolutely stunning.

I could not give this BnB a high enough score!

From the moment you enter it is perfect. Modern rooms with an excellent bathroom. Very spacious bedroom as well. 

You are a 5-6 min walk from Market Square (the center of town) which puts you just outside of the noisey main streets.

The breakfast alone is worth staying for! Pastries, ham / cheese omelette with coffee and juice. This would cost you €20-25 alone at a cafe per couple.

The host are lovely and will do anything you need to enhance your stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Behind the Red Door

Bed and Breakfast Contrast is a superb B&B, which is located in walking distance from Bruges' Belfort (10-15 minutes walking). The hosts are friendly, the accomodation is a mixture between modern and history and the rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is included in the price and is based on an extensiv continental breakfast. Parking is possible in the public parking garage next to the B&B for 14 Euro's a day. If you happen to have a chance to stay in this B&B, I would highly recommend it!

Superb B&B in Bruges

Everything was beyond expectations. Clean, comfy room provided with every comfort. Cathy was very nice and ready to answer to our questions about the place and to give us advices. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and our time in this B&B was great in general. Also very nice garden with plenty of flowers and plants and very good design for what concerns the lounge. Perfect position near the canal literally just next to the center.
We will definitely return. Thanks!

Besides the amazing city of Brugge, this B&B has excellent atmosphere, rooms are very spacious and the host are unbelievably friendly, breakfast was quite big and good!! can't wait to go back there again. Will recommend to everyone

Amazing place and people

We stayed in the triple in September 2018. There is a small bedroom in the loft.  The room was spotless. The shower was enormous. The B & B is located on a canal, a short walk to the town square. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They even served breakfast for us early, since our train left very early in the morning. I loved Bruges and I loved Contrast B & B!
