We (couple and 5 month baby) had a perfect stay at Les Anges and would definitely come back. The ascetic was lovingly and carefully crafted, creating  warmth and charm throughout. The garden spaces were inviting and perfect for leisurely conversations with family or friends. We highly recommend adding the 3 course pre-set dinner to your stay. My husband called it the unicorn of cuisine; excellent food, generous portions, and priced fairly! Breakfast was good too, especially in the little glass atrium. Our mattresses were comfortably firm and the area was quiet. Very warm and relaxed reception by the hosts. We’ll have wonderful memories forever! 

Wonderful stay at this charming, romantic getaway

We last visited Les Anges 5 years ago and nothing has changed.

We stayed for 3 nights this time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Breakfasts were more than ample and the 2 dinners we enjoyed were excellent. There is a very good wine list to choose from to accompany your meal and you can retire to the lounge/bar for a night cap of your choice.

The accommodation remains of a high standard and there is a pretty garden at the back of the house.

Les Hayons is a quiet village in lovely country a short drive from the picturesque town of Bouillon.

Perfect!

Another perfect stay

Les Anges is a small B&B in a lovely, well decorated house. It is comfortable and for us an ideal location as it was near Bouillon but not in the small town itself. Steven is a wonderful host, helpful with dinner recommendations and places of interest. The breakfast was large with a good choice and very good scrambled eggs. We had dinner there and that was not only excellent but very good value, We loved the area and would happily return to Les Anges and recommend it to anyone who wanted to stay in this region

The Ideal B&B

"Les Anges" is a charming four room bed and breakfast situated deep in the Ardennes. Steven is a perfect host and during the hunting season he brings all those games on the dinner-plate.
If you like hiking in the surrounding forest and enjoy  a relaxing stay this is the place to be.

Little gem

Les Anges describes itself as a 'Guesthouse' i.e. not an Hotel or Restaurant but it would put many an Hotel & Restaurant to shame.

The house has been very tastefully decorated and the food, particularly dinner, was very good. Beware the after dinner brandy - it is a very generous measure!

Steven was the perfect host.

Les Anges might be a bit out of the way but it is well worth the diversion.

A perfect stay

This is really a very charming and different bed and breakfast.  The house looks so lovely, both inside and out and there is a really nice sunny courtyard garden at the back to enjoy a local beer or a glass of wine.

We love old houses and the owners have really done a good job of creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in Les Anges. In many ways it has the touch of a boutique hotel, but retains the feel of a warm and welcoming family home.

Our room was excellent - we had a sitting room, bedroom and good sized bathroom. The sitting room was equipped with lots of games and DVDs which would have been extremely welcome had it been raining or if we were travelling with children.  

We ate at the house both nights and it was very good.

The area around the village is fabulous.  We had bikes and cycled down to the river and to local towns (although I should say it is hilly!).  Bouillon is a gorgeous little town and not far away. We spent a nice afternoon taking a pedallo on the river and exploring on the tourist train. 

The only downside for us was that there was some unwelcome noise.  Granted it was very hot weather so we had the window open a lot.  The church bells next door did not bother us so much as some noise from a local building project, and a neighbour's noisy dog.  This is maybe just the downside of the village location.

Overall though, a great little place to stay for a couple of days.
