I visit Dhaka on regular bases due to my work. The first time I stay at The Grand Oriental Hotel during the March 2020 covid19 lockdown until the first week of May 2020. During the whole time, I was looked after very well by staff and management. Since then, I have stayed at this hotel more than once. This hotel is perfect for business travellers. Location is excellent, eating in or out a verity of chooses and what can I say about the staff, they are second to none, friendly and caring bunch of people especially Maruf and Rana, always make you feel homely and safe. I highly recommend this hotel because this is one of the warm & caring hotels I have come across after a long time.
