I have been here several times. The staff is extremely friendly. The hotel offers all you need during your stay. Lunch is very cheap but good. At night you will find a decent dinner at a good price. Breakfast is ok. Just the orange juice is not.... the rooms are ok nothing special. In summer you can enjoy Terrasse outside. 
 

Super hotel 

I have stayed here a few times over the years.  It is always a reliable standard, particularly its restaurant, with lots of generously-portioned, local recipes available  Clean, comfortable rooms and nice breakfast.  Fair prices, and I know that ongoing, periodic renovation will preserve its quality.  Good recommendation.

After several stays, still good.

We had a slight problem finding the hotel as the directions within Leibnitz can be a bit confusing but it was all worth it when we arrived. A very friendly welcome awaited us at reception  and checking-in was easy. We found our room (123) to be very spacious and the bathroom equally so.The restaurant has a very charming and comfortable atmosphere and our food was totally outstanding along with the service. A pre-dinner drink on the terrace was 'a must' as we were so lucky with this year's 'Indian Summer' which is helping us forget the awful weather that we suffered in August and early September. It is true that there is no lift but I am sure that a ground level room would be available should that really be a problem. The cleaning ladies work very hard to keep the rooms spotless As the 'Weinstrasse' more-or-less surrounding Leibnitz, there is lots to see and experience within a relatively short distance. On the whole, my wife and I were very happy during our stay and we thank the Stopper Family and their staff for making us feel so welcome. Outstanding

We went on a winetrip to Leibnitz from Graz where our hotel was located. When we came to Leibnitz it was a bad weather with lot of rain, we didnt now whicj way to go so we just went for the centrum and there we found this Hotel. We wanted to have lunch and i took a Schnitzel and my wife took fish, it was the best schnitzel i´ve ever had. After the lunch we asked the restaurant manager if he could help us with som vineyard tip and he gave us the best tip, and ordered a taxi for us.

I stayed here while attending a conference in Seggau Castle. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The hotel staff were very accommodating and caring, making sure I had breakfast before I left (even though I needed leave before 6 am to catch a train) and helping me understand the restaurant menu as I don't speak German.

The hotel itself is only about a 5 minute walk from the train station, near the centre of the town. My room had a very comfortable bed, flat screen TV, and was very spacious by European standards. I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning, but keeping the window open was sufficient to keep the room cool at night.
