Very friendly welcome from all staff and beautiful facilities. Spa experience perfect and ski to door makes it super convenient.
Heated boot room right next to ski hire shop makes everything super easy!
Will definitely return and probably as a couple as it's romantic too

Wonderful location, service and food. Have been twice now and would highly recommend. The spa is very well staffed, clean and well equipped. The room was spotless and well suited to our requirements although the pillows were rather lacking in volume - a very minor grumble! 

Excellent!  Have to say this is by far the best hotel we have stayed at when skiing. 
Im a funny lady when it comes to food and cleanliness. 
The food was outstanding, I don’t eat meat or fish but lots of plants and veggies, so refreshing to have something other than a schnitzel and chips on the menu. My boys do eat meat they also enjoyed the food (they ate the meat and fish) 
Fresh, crunchy loads of variety salad buffet style to start followed by a main course off your menu and a beautiful choice of desserts also fresh from the kitchen (off the menu.)
I don’t have small children but they always had plenty of food out for the kids to grab at the buffet. 
Rooms super spacious with plenty of wardrobe space and to put your suitcase away. Separate toilet to the bathroom which is ALWAYS a good idea. Large bathroom with daily clean towels. Maid came in every morning to make the bed and take rubbish. (Also made funny designs with teddys and the quilt) 
Beds are super big and comfy with warm quilts and nice pillows. 
Ski in ski out made mornings and evenings super easy and was a top bonus definitely going to make sure this is high on our list in future. The boot room was warm with plenty of room to change. 
Overall 10 out of 10!  Definitely come back actually looked on line at an other VAYA and we are booking at the Kuhtai resort!

Went for Christmas to this hotel and travelled with our daughter.  The suite was lovely and spacious and lots of wardrobe space.  The staff were really super especially in the restaurant very attentive.  The breakfasts are amazing with so much choice and freshly made omelettes etc.  The evening menu was varied with the option of salad bar and amazing desserts.  You won’t leave feeling hungry!  Really loved staying here and hope to return next year.  Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This is our 2nd time at this fabulous hotel.  The service and quality of accom is first class and we can’t recommend it highly enough especially for families with children 

The food is incredible, with a stunning breakfast selection and 5 course a la carte evening meal.  Children can pick and choose from that menu or switch any courses for more child friendly options like pasta and schnitzel with fries etc.  We have a 9 Yr old child with a peanut allergy and she has been so well catered for, eating mostly a la carte all week.  

The pool and spa area is top quality, though gets busy after ski school.  

You can buy ski passes from hotel reception, then the hotel is about a 5 / 10 mins walk from ski school and you can hire all you need from the Schrieber hire shop and boot room in the basement.  Just making life a little simpler for busy families.

We stayed at this hotel in half term week. Reviews had made us a little cautious about booking half board so went bed and breakfast, with the intention that we would have a few evenings out and pay the excess a few nights to eat in the hotel.
We thought the hotel food was amazing, breakfast was very plentiful and something for everyone. You may struggle if you had particular dietary requirements (example array of breakfast cereals/muesli/granola but all signs written in German). Evening meal was 5 course and had a choice of soup and main course. Good standard of food and presented well. We have 3 children from 7 up to 12 and they would eat from the main menu, occasionally switching to ice cream for dessert. 
Boot room amazing and connected to the ski hire shop, which was connected to the gondola. Possibly the best boot room we have come across. The hotel is about 4 min walk to ski school. 
Swimming pools also good, indoor and outdoor. I used the gym and also of a high standard.
Rooms modern and clean, good views. Great showers.
Two criticisms: Rooms were hot at night time. No tea time snacks. 
We found all staff helpful and friendly.
We would definitely return to this hotel.

We stayed here for a skiing holiday. The hotel is on the edge of Obergurgl, so not great for apres-ski, but the centre is only a few minutes walk. The hotel is positioned right by a gondola, so practically ski in, ski out. As the gondola is out of the centre, that mean hardly any queues, so easy to get up the mountain. The boot room and ski storage is spacious, well-organised, and heated.
The split- level room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with plenty of storage, and a balcony. A Nespresso coffee machine was provided with capsules, but no milk. It was impossible to get plain white coffee in the hotel(except at breakfast when it was self-service) without having to ask for milk at least twice. Small criticism, but it was irritating. Dressing gowns and slippers are provided.
The staff are fantastic, without exception. Friendly, professional and very good at their jobs. The food is amazing. The breakfast buffet had everything you could want, with omelettes cooked freshly to order. Dinner was 5-8 courses, beautifully presented and with quantities calculated to leave you full but not uncomfortable. You could eat multiple desserts and however much cheese you wanted. All excellent quality. 
There is a good spa included, with indoor and outdoor pools, saunas and steam rooms-some for family use and others adults only. 
I would happily stay here again.

Apart from one noisy night from some businessmen, an excellent stay. Good location, nice food, friendly staff, great indoor pool and outdoor "bath". Used Lohmann for skis, slightly better deal than others, and they deliver and pick-up from hotel boot room.

The hotel is in an excellent position, next to the ski bus stop and the lift. There is a ski shop attached to the hotel. The leisure facilities include indoor/ outdoor pools, saunas, steamrooms etc.
The rooms were warm with comfortable beds.
The food was varied with lots of choice and the wine was very good. The restaurant manager, Thomas, was friendly and efficient and was ably assisted by Maria.
The bar needed to close at 10pm due to covid restrictions, but was a good place to relax and had a lovely open fire.
We would be very happy to stay here again.

Very good hotel. Staff was very friendly. Room was very big. Pool and sauna very clean. Hotel takes you directly to the ski elevator. Also valet service when you arrive at hotel , so you can relax when you arrive.
