Excellent appartment, superb kitchen equipment, free coffee, tea, sugar, etc. Everything was nice and clean.
Great parking and covenient ski depo.

Excellent accomodation

We stayed 6 nights in Haus Franzis and we had one bedroom apartment for 3 girls. Our apartment was spacious and the extrabed which was made from couch was comfortable. Our apartment was very clean and modern. Haus Franzis is also very close to the citycentrum of Bad Gastein. I strongly recommend Haus Franzis for anyone who is staying over night in Bad Gastein. 

Great place

We had the 2 bedroom comfort apartment. This had a double bedroom at each end of the apartment which is excellent for a bit of privacy, plus two shower rooms, one larger than the other but both good, with endless hot water. The kitchen is in the middle with a dining table in. It was very well equipped with enough pots and pans to cook in and great dishwasher. Also we had dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, bin liners, toilet roll , tea bags and coffee beans provided for our whole stay which in our experience is unusual but most welcome.
The towels were changed three times in the week we stayed too which was a nice touch also.
The lounge is lovely, a good size with two large sofas and two smaller chairs plus a wood burning stove. The apartment was very warm the whole time so we only needed to put on fire a few times.
Bad gastein in an unusual place for a ski resort, more a spa town I think. We ate out a few times but can recommend the steak and Mehr restaurant, the food was great and the lady who runs it was so friendly. It's a very hilly resort but not bad to walk into town. 
We found the skiing excellent from Dorfgastein, great wide runs and some easier blues for the beginner in our group. We drove up to the Angertal centre and parked there a few days and had some good skiing there too. The weather was bad on several days so we didn't get the best of bad gastein, excellent for the intermediate skier though. Would definitely recommend this apartment as a base though for the surrounding ski areas, great if you have a car and only just over an hour from Salzburg Airport.
Final point there is a train line behind but don't worry you can't really hear with the windows shut, other than that it is deadly quiet at night.

Lovely

we came to Haus Franzis in August. Two families in two apartments. Thomas and Martina made sure we have everything we needed (including some groceries according to our list) before and throughout our stay. The apartments are spacious and well equipped, it shows that a lot of care into the details was given, from the coffee machine to the baby crib, from the sitting area to the playground and towels. It is really a home away from home. 
The location is also very good, in a quiet surrounding but within a walking distance to the town centre. We definitely recommend a stay in Haus Franzis!

In one word - GREAT!

I came here with my family in January. Our apartment was big with two beds, one kitchen and a big living-room.I stayed there with my beloved family which has one child. The kitchen had tea, coffe, a sink, a cooker. In the living-room there was a big sofa, a table with 4chairs an a modern TV.


Good Hotel

We were 2 couples in 2 bedroom apartment and it was excellent, because there was also 2 wc/bathrooms (one for each couple). The kitchen was fully equipped (also included coffee maker + coffee). The Flat consist of 2 bedrooms, 2 wc/bathrooms, kitchen and restroom with 2 sofas & armchairs, big flat TV and fireplace (and we use it every evening), yes and balcony with great view to the mountains. The owners was very pleasant and welcoming and unobtrusive. Car parking is not a problem, because in the yard is place enough, and it is for free.
All was excellent, just one thing in our opinion - bed clothes (duvet cover) was synthetic, and also pillows was synthetic and big, but too soft.
