Lovely spot near the lake and it was easy to find.  Good service from reception and very historical.  But poor lighting from caravan sites to the toilets at night, with no pathway to the amenities.  Our site was muddy. A little disappointed.  

It was ok.

We had been travelling for a while and it was starting to rain, it was winter and it was a windy day. We had originally booked for just a campsite but when we arrived we asked the question if we could upgrade to a cabin and they had one already ready to go. We paid the difference and were very greatful to the lady on the counter. 
They had a heater, hot showers and a full kitchen to cook a warm meal. It was all very welcome and it was clean and there was no last minute things they needed to do to get it ready, we simple had the key and drove up. Thank you! We really needed a good nights rest after camping and driving every day so we did have a really great sleep. 
The cabin could go with little upgrades here and there as it is starting to age but beautiful views, very peaceful and lovely safe grounds with great customer service.

This park looks great in the online photos, however in reality it is sad, dated and looks neglected. It has the potential to be a really good park again, but only if a lot of time, money and effort is put into it. Bathroom window was broken, curtains were a little mouldy and decor very dated. Location is nice.

Have enjoyed this park before with our van.Great position,easy walk into town and Long Beach. Great walking tracks.

Overnight lakeside stay in Robe!

Stayed for ten nights, we weren’t impressed. The site we were given we were squashed in, surrounded by much larger vans, long walk to the amenities, definitely not lake side! rubbish bins were beside the office, not located around the park, having to trek the rubbish to the bins. Numerous piles of building waste around the park, very untidy. Several of us had ten night travel auction deals, all put in the same area away from the lake, one couple left before their ten nights, were fed up.

Wasn’t impressed

We stayed in a studio cabin with queen bed and bunks. Great spot looking out over the lake. Cabin had everything including cooking facilities, good heating, and quiet. Very well priced and great location a short walk to the beach and town, lots of trees and out of the wind

Perfect setting and well priced

We stayed here for a few nights during school holidays in a Deluxe villa. The location is only a minute drive from the main area of Robe. Definitely within walking distance (10-15min) if the weather is suitable. 

We didn’t realise the Deluxe villas were right beside the main road, but it actually wasn’t noisy at all. The first night we had some campers in front of our villa but the remainder of the nights those spots were vacant, it was quiet and we had a nice view of the lake. 

The villa is a perfect alternative to booking an expensive hotel room/s elsewhere in the area. It was self-contained and had everything we needed for a small family - kitchenette, dining table, couch with TV, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with shower. It was very clean and well kept. Wifi worked fine throughout our stay. 

Our only criticisms/issues we had was that there was a rodent or small animal living in the floorboards that was skittering around all night and could be loud at times. We were also missing a frying pan (everything else was provided) and wish we had some more hand soap in the bathroom as one bar deteriorates quickly. We didn’t think to ask for extra but definitely will next time. The reception lady was kind and I’m sure they would have been more than happy to assist. 

We would definitely recommend this tourist park and their villas - it’s a perfect spot for families holidaying away and looking for an affordable yet comfortable option.

This park has a lot to offer, clean well presented amenities, close to main shopping strip. Quiet area. Friendly, helpful managers
Well grassed and fairly spacious sites.
The office being heritage listed leads you into history of the town

Pleasant place to stay

We stayed a week here in our camper trailer. Park is situated 20 minutes walk from the Robe main street.

Positives: Mostly grassy sites, clean amenities (although wife reports that there was a clump of hair on the windowsill of the ladies amenities the entire length of our stay), hot showers, friendly staff, well equipped camp kitchen.

Negatives: Mostly unpaved roads leading to lots of dust, lakeside sites cop the wind, park is looking a bit tired.

All in all reasonable value for the site fees and nice and close to town.
