What a shame would have loved to write a glowing review but this place is in dire need of renovations. The location is sensation with the most amazing beach right at your door step however the park was a let down. The bathrooms are disgraceful, you pay 30c for a 3 minute shower and then most of the time the coin machine in the showers was jammed or the hot water was not working. The grout looked like it had never been cleaned, the toilets hardly flushed and it was constantly filthy. When they did come to clean it would be at 8am when everyone would be trying to go shower. The gardens around the park are nice with lots of large grassed areas  but powered sites are super small with many crammed between residents annexes. Many would be challenging to park caravan in. The pool area was okay, pool is old, cold and needs a Reno. If you can get passed the old facilities and just want a great location then go for it, otherwise there are much better places to stay for the price.

The bed was nice and firm. The kitchen had a great amount of utensils and pots and pans. 
The bathroom was a little shabby. 
It was wonderful we could stay with our dog. 
The pool was nice but had some algae on the bottom of the pool… I suspect due to the abundance of birds in the area. 
The birds were fantastic and the sunrise on one of our sunny days was spectacular.

Had a great weekend away with the whole family, dogs included. Our 2brm cabin was spacious and clean, and beach access right from the park! While it's not an off-lead beach it was good fun for the kids to swim and the dogs were fine on long leads. Hope we can come back again, I'd return in a heartbeat! A beautiful bush location with plenty of wildlife :)

A weekend of doggy fun

Been going here for over 33yrs. Tried it all, cabins,tent, owner of an on site cabin & now as caravanners. Nothing has changed, only the owners. Continually over charging for no power, no water hook-up & no camp kitchen. Most expensive camping fees we have encountered around the country, given the basic facilities. Successive owners have been happy to take in customers' money (including $6000+ pa for onsite cabin lessees) and have put precisely one poofteenth of bugger all back into facilities for campers or onsite lessees. They are quite simply abusing what Mother Nature gifted them. Have a good look at yourselves, owners.

Overpriced for very basic facilities. No camp kitchen, limited water supply. Great beach, poor owners.

We stayed here in our motorhome. A step back in time. 20c showers, spacious sites, manicured lawns and a hop, skip and jump to a pristine beach. A great chance to rejuvenate and find yourself. Lovely, friendly, welcoming receptionist

A hidden gem

A great spot for a holiday. We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed ourselves. Very close to a nice sandy beach. Amenities were extremely clean. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Grounds were well presented. Reasonably priced. Will be back again.

Very small sites, our van (20' 6") took the entire length of the site, anything bigger would extend onto road
Narrow roads make it very difficult to reverse van onto site, backed in with car at 45 degree angle as no room to do it straight, luckily the site diagonally opposite was vacant otherwise would have been near impossible  
No grey water drains on van site
Luckily we have our own shower otherwise you have to pay to use the amenity block showers
Roads in need of repair, full of potholes and no lighting of a night to see where you are walking, don't leave site without a torch or you could end up having an accident due to road conditions 
No water to your site, have stayed at many places around Australia that also have bore water but these places had water treatment works to make water drinkable or at least usable for washing dishes or showering 
No TV reception
Poor phone reception, I use my phone as a mobile hotspot for watching Netflix and had to search around for a spot in the van to allow for 2 bars of signal strength and it took ages to start
Cleanliness of amenity blocks just passable

We have spent over 12 years travelling and working around Australia and this is the most overpriced place we have ever stayed with the least amount of basic facilities that should be provided in a van park

A lot more better places in the Shoalhaven to stay

Great spot, beach only short walk thru the trees and peaceful area.
Cabin was clean but very much in need of a facelift, cracked tiles in bathroom and overall very tired.
No free WIFI available and take your own drinking water as what is available is not nice. 
Apparently if using shower block you have to pay $0.20 for a 3 minute shower! Amenities block also needs upgrading.
On positive note, friendly staff, pool and playground looked ok, good bbq. Beds were comfortable, shower hot.
A peaceful place to stay with kangaroos and birdlife out and about.

Overcrowded camping situation with disgusting amenities considering we’re in a pandemic! Absolutely unacceptable given the cost of $75 a night to camp! Lift your game Kioloa, you’re just lucky to sit next to a beautiful beach! Don’t take it for granted!

Family holiday!

Took the family to Kioloa Beach Holiday Park this New Year and while we expected it to be packed out because of NYE and the great COVID escape we were still disappointed.

We were James in like sardines so much so had trouble getting the 17 foot van in and out. We were put between two permanents who had their place right to the boarder of our site.

Given COVID the toilet and show blocked were dirty and not cleaned often given the numbers in the park. No curfew so parties went to 4am, the toilet and shower block we used, one could not be locked and one when you put your 20cents in the machine to get 3 minutes of hot water did not work.

We had heard that the park is being sold and the upkeep has not been maintained while new owners are found and you could tell.

The pool was good,, staff friendly but the permanents rule !!! It’s right on a nice beach and a takeaway across the road. No wifi, internet or limited mobile phone service depending on your courier. 

 Bring your own drinking water or some containers to fill up on site, no taps on sites as their is no mains water.  I did feel cramped into a site and there was no privacy what so ever. Again permanents can have fires but the rat of us cannot. 

Our kids 12 and 15 and like to get out but have told us, please don’t go back. For us a bit disappointing and I don’t think we could return, particularly during peak.
