The Rooms are confortable and clean, the service is good and food too. Smell so good,

Some part of the structure is old need some repairs, but overall the Hotel is excellent.

Upper rooms have better views.

Still The Best Hotel In Huambo

Hotel manager was very helpful.  We had to change our reservations due to contacting Covid and it was not great with Hotels.com talking to the hotel, but our local associates managed to change the reservations without penalty and then we had our returning flight cancelled, so needed to add another day.  Management was helpful.

Good Huambo Hotel

Modern with all the facilities one would need. It's also centrally located in Huambo which was perfect because we could walk around the city center . The staff is friendly , and the food was also good . We enjoyed our stay.

Modern and comfortable 

I liked my experience in this hotel. I got a transfer organised from airport to Hotel when I arrived. Great location, close to the most popular garden, government buildings and restaurants such as Novo Império and Restaurante Huambo (known as RH). 
The room was clean, sheets were clean and the bathroom was clean. 

I had a problem with the hot water. I had to call a housekeeper and the reception to get it fixed, they tardied a bit, but then they solved the situation. I had to run the water for about 5 minutes before water turned hot. It broke my heart to spill so much water - I hate people who take long showers or baths, but there was no other solution. 

I did not try the restaurant or room service. 

I would go back to this hotel when in Huambo. No doubt about that!

A Hotel that does not let Angolan Hospitality down

Check the rooms.  The ac doesn’t work in many and my first bed was so soft I could feel the springs.

They were good about finding me a room with ac and a hard mattress the next day.

The breakfast isn’t great…. Bread was stale but the fresh fruit was good.

The restaurant cooked good tasty food, but they don’t have most of the menu items.  So I suggest just asking what they have.

 I did have a wonderful massage and a manicure, but you need to book the day before and then remind them on the day.  Warning the massage woman routinely stops short of time.  I’ve heard this from several people.  My 2 hour massage was just 1 hour 20 mins.  I pointed this out and she said I could adjust the payment .. which I did

Wi-Fi was not strong anywhere in the hotel and kept on disconnecting.

Ok hotel.

Wifi was decent, everything seemed to work, breakfast was also decent (cold cuts, cereal, milk/yogurt, fruit, pod coffee, more). Great location, lots of places to walk to, including restaurants. If only I had the time. 

Service was relaxed, not necessarily in a bad way, but if you are short of time, the delays seem unnecessary. 

1) telephone labelled to dial 200 for reception. It's supposed to be 100, but no one bothered to make the change and it took two trips to the reception to get that information. No one thought it was a big deal, and the label isn't changed even now. No rush 

2) toilet paper was not replaced--I used it all up this morning. So.. what if I had REALLY needed it? Unnecessary grief

3) safe was locked I have an hour to workout tonight, and they have taken at least 15 minutes to get here (they aren't here yet) so that I can lock up my stuff before heading out. 

4) the gym is a 10 min walk away on another street

So it would be a fine hotel if you are on vacation, but for a business trip, if you are short on time, Ekuikui does not help you save any of it, as you must adapt their schedule. This review started out as a 4 out of 5 stars, but because no one has arrived  to help with the safe I'm downgrading. So annoyed. I guess I'll just work out tomorrow

I have a special USG rate, so I can't tell what the normal rate is. Tried to check their website, and it doesn't work.

Friendly staff, well located, but not really five star

The stay was pretty bad, very poor wifi and mostly no wifi, terrible beds, uncomfortable, pillows are a joke, bathroom needs lot of maintenance, this hotel does not deserve to be 4 stara for sure, i do not understand how they got it in the first place. It is a 2 stars hotel for sure. I overpaid for something that was not worth it. i had to cut my trip short and checked out a day earlier and requested for a refund, they said they will get back to me however they still did not message me (it has been 2 days already).

Poor stay

I have stayed at this hotel recently and I was horrified with the cleanliness and services. Simply horrible!!!! The room was dirty and stink. No hot water in the bathroom. The price charged is absurd!!! For me this hotel couldn't be more than 2 stars.
