My family (four of us) spent close to 2 weeks in Albania and this was our best experience. If you are in Berat for the great look of the ancient city (which most people are there for) you cannot do better than this location. The view from the terrace is priceless. It is the view they use for all those postcards. Also, it is right next to the walk to the castle further up. Again, you couldn't possibly pick a better location.
If location was the best you can have, service was right there with it. Mira and her sons were always accommodating and helpful.
The place itself was modern and very functional from the inside. We saw all sort of places in our extended trip in Albania, but Arben Elezi impressed us with the upgraded rooms (flooring, bathroom fixtures, beds - basically everything). You can tell they spared no expense. Keep in mind that this is in a somehow inaccessible part of town (vehicle-wise), so I can only imagine what it may have taken to upgrade what typically is a very traditional home.
Having said above, there is parking, albeit limited. You have to be resourceful when parking and it helps if your vehicle is small.
Breakfast was traditional Albanian breakfast - we loved it. It is made on the spot and very fresh. That also means that it is not buffet style and it is what they have prepared for the day. You get the full Albanian experience.
I learned from the owner, that they don't accommodate young children. I completely agree with her. There are very few children who would appreciate what Berat would offer  - I left mine home and came with just my parents and children. 
I would always look for Arben Elezi accomodation when I travel to Berat.

Excellent location and excellent and modern accommodations in this very traditional Albanian city

We totally recommend the guesthouse. Roof terrace with wonderful view where meals are served. Good wifi and parking available. Central location but very quiet- so one can sleep without any problems. Great Host with her sons taking care of their family guesthouse. Truly exceptional

The best place in Berat

A gem of a guest house. The owner, Mira was the absolute sweetest and we felt like we were her family. Room was clean and well cared for. Parking easily accessible outside guesthouse. The selling point of Mira’s property aside from her hospitality is the amazing rooftop terrace that looks out over Berat. wow. Her breakfast was all homemade and was so special. We were so sad to leave this guesthouse and wished we could have stayed longer.

Host makes you feel like family!

It is a great location. Rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. Hosts are so kind. It is one of the best places I rested. The breakfast is great! The parking is just in front. It is near the castle, and near centre. The view is amazing. 10/10, thank you. Highly recommended!

Best place to rest in berat!

The value of this Place is amazing. 
Location wise it is in the middle of everything. 
The photos don’t do it justice. As a solo Traveller the owner was kind enough to take a few pictures for me. 
Breakfast is served on the balcony with this amazing view. 

They have a fridge as well if you’d like to purchase and drinks which was handy after returning from a lovely evening. 

Parking is available and the owners son happily parked my car to allow extra room for others to park.

Couldn’t ask for better!

An absolute gem of a place! We stayed for one night and it was a complete pleasure to stay with Mira at her guesthouse. The rooms, location and genuine friendliness cannot be beat. The rooms are spotless with comfortable beds and private bathroom. The free breakfast was an outstanding spread of various foods and beverages and was served on the amazing terrace. The view is spectacular and the rooms are super clean, but I will go back for the warm hospitality and authentic friendliness from the owner. Highly recommend for a clean and comfortable stay in Berat.

Amazing, clean and comfortable!

We came here on a sunny February day and we loved this place! The rooms are modern, fully equipped and super clean! We loved the view from the terrace, where we enjoyed a very nice breakfast! The service is great! Totally worth the money! The location is great. Would definitely come back again!

Highly recommend!

I can only highly recommend this place. Very nicely equipped, amazingly clean place with great service. Very comfortable bed which we really appreciated after all day travelling. Mrs Mira is a wonderful host, very helpful and kind, giving us recommendations. Nothing was a problem. Delicious breakfast served on a terrace with an amazing view. Even though the place is located in the historical center, close to stores and restaurant, it's quiet and calm. Thank you Mira and your family for having us!

Great experience

Our guest was very kind helpful and nice welcoming. Beautiful view from the terrace and the place is close to downtown. Room was good. I really recommend this guesthouse to anyone. Breakfast was great, local and a lot.

Perfect guesthouse with spectacular view

The bed was really comfortable, spacious room, the lady was really nice.  Unbelievable great breakfast, only for   you, they will serve you in the terrace with the nice view of the city. Location perfect, between old /new-town and the castle.
