Stayed with my family overnight while in transit to Lusaka. The room we had was the family room which was spacious comfortable amd very relaxing. Although located in the main building and near the dining room the room was pleasently quiet. The food was of a good standard and staff lovely and friendly. Outside was a beautiful pool, sauna and outside bar which is great if you want to wind down or interact with other guests. All in all i would definitely recommend Wasawange to friends and family.

This pleasant lodging is located on the road to the airport.  It is a 15-20 minute walk from the business district.  Though not as shiny or luxurious as some of the higher profile hotels located next to the falls, it is certainly a far greater value.  The staff is friendly and well trained and you have much more privacy here.  Most rooms are stand alone chalets, but there are a few rooms in the main building for those who prefer that.  The pool is in a nice setting and there is even a sauna (very hard to find in Africa).  The bar is excellent and a great place to relax and meet other travelers and even some locals and off duty staff.  This place is popular with diplomats from African countries who visit the area (my in-laws are some).  Oddly, the place seems to have escaped the attention of Westerners.  I recommend this place to anyone who wants value in Livingstone without giving up on comfort or privacy.

Comfortable Lodgings

Peaceful retreat.

I stayed with 2 friends in one of the hotel rooms (not a chalet) for 4 nights. The room was perfectly adequate and that’s about it. Everything felt a bit dated and dusty, the bathroom especially, and the toilet flush was so powerful that it jettisoned much of the bowl’s water content onto the floor with each push. Otherwise no complaints. Two other friends shared a chalet room which seemed more pleasant so this may be a better option.

Breakfast was okay but somewhat lacking if vegetarian (the omelette was very overcooked). The staff were friendly and happy to help, even unlocking the bar for us late at night when we ran out of water. The WiFi was non-existent in the room. Location-wise, it is not as close to town as other accommodations but this was not a problem as we had a car.

All-in-all, this place was probably about worth it for what we paid so a good option if you’re looking for somewhere cheap at short notice.

Cheap for a reason

Staff is really friendly, the place is nice, but nothing similar with the pictures they use for publicity. They haven't the swimming pool available and the rooms are very simple with slow wifi and difficulties with the electrical plugs. Food is nice but they haven't all the menu available, no desserts 😱 and they use so long for service. In general cheap and normal place.

Not bad not good

Was a pleasant stay, room where clean n the surrounding was peaceful. Had clean towels, the bath room was spacious and the food was average, the waiters where friendly & welcoming. parking was secure but would do with a bigger parking space .Would go back  & yes I would recommend it to my friends! 

Peaceful 

The receptionist was warm and welcoming but the room wasn't. Sockets didn't take a two pin charger, had to ask for the extension cable. The wifi is weak in the chalets . Sockets should be replaced!! Waiting for dinner time and I hope it will be different and that it will be mouth watering!!😊
