When you walk into Canary, you are immediately surrounded by a beautiful setting. It feels like you’re sleeping in a lush forest. All of the staff were friendly staff and professional. There is a delicious restaurant in the front that’s also beautiful. It has a varied menu and all of the food we had was delicious.

Beautiful Surroundings

Very well managed hotel, with friendly and serviceminded Staff. Superclean and fresh property and rooms with lovely food in the resturant. Quiet area and close to the beach. My wife and I will highly recommend this place. The hotel is situated in a small and charming street away from the Main street. We just fall in love with the area.

Such a beautiful place, rooms are lovely and very clean. The owner is so helpful and kind, we loved staying here and would stay as long as we could! Lovely restaurant at the hotel with the best food we have had in Vietnam - big menu with lots of lovely choices

Brilliant place and lovely owner

Really good Vietnamese food and with vegan options! I can highly recommend this place for any meal of the day. I haven’t stayed in one of the bungalows but the staff here is really nice and helpful. If you are allergic to anything they will keep that in mind and make you the food that you can eat :)

Great vegan options if Vietnamese food!

Little gem of a place…great cheap accommodation…rooms clean and beautiful surrounded by beautiful gardens Tween and her brother Binh were very welcoming and helpful , the cafe was awesome with lovely food. Would highly recommend staying here , I definitely will be back.

Little gem of a place

Food here is ok and kind of pricey. I had a great experience staying here for 4 days, 3 nights with free breakfast. The staff was very nice. I emailed them in advance to confirm by booking and let them know that I will be arriving.I also asked for a quote for taxi pick up from the Phu Quoc Express Pier to this hotel which they quoted to be $200K VMD. I used Grab and got it cheaper at $170K so I used Grab instead. They know a local taxi guy who works closely with the hotel so I ended up using him for the rest of my trip but you should quote using Grab instead to confirm prices and you can bargain for cheaper rates after you compared with Grab. I found Grab to be great for Phu Quoc and Saigon for best prices to travel around and efficient too. Hotel room was comfortable with big comfy beds, clean and service was great. Overall a great 3 star place by US/CAD standards. I asked the staff each day questions and they were able to answer my questions efficiently by email or in person. I do not recommend the 4 Island Cano tour for $500-650K package as there is not much to see for the Island and you can barely swim by Long Tour. It is a tourist trap where they try to get you to go shopping at Pearl shops and pay for extra services.  The 4 Island tours by Long Tour is a total waste of time and I would never recommend anyone to take this tour or something similar when going to Phu Quoc. You are better using the moeny and time to visit other beaches area like Bai Sao, Ong Long Beach etc...instead. You can take the electric taxi around for just $30K for 1KM. We really enjoyed this ride and the driver took us to better and cleaner parts of the beach.  You should check out all the beaches area in Phu Quoc and explore them. So stay in 3 star hotels to save $$ and use the $$ to go to different beach areas by taxi. Also go the other side of the Island and eat at Tinh Bien seafood if you love to eat Seafood Vietnamese style. We are there 2 times and love it. Much better pricing and more fresh than the seafood places close to the hotel or tourist areas. Total cost for Taxi ride there is just $100-200K each way, you can use Grab & bargain with local taxi to take you there :)

The owners / staff are very sweet and helpful. My daughter loved playing with tiger the dog. The room was comfotable And more than sufficient for our little family. The food was really great at times especially the noodles , crepe and coffee. Go for it 

Wonderful place with a big heart 

We didn’t stay here but we came here for dinner and coffee regularly. 

Every time we came the staff were friendly and helpful, my friend has dietary requirements and the chef made something to meet her needs. 

We would get coffee in the morning and the staff would give us suggestions for what to do that day.

Friendly and Relaxed

I spent 3 nights at this nice bungalow and for sure I'll come back on another occasion. 
It's the best location in Phu Quoc because it's just 100m from the beach; near lots of restaurantes, coffee & bars with a wonderful view overlooking the sea.
The first impression is a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere with a lovely flower garden.

The service is also really good. Extremely clean & fresh room is what I like most.
Staffs were nice and always enthusiastic, I can ask them everything for the trip.
And food/ drink is delicious. We also had breakfast, lunch & dinner here

Best service and location !

Canary bungalow is welcoming , their moto which they live by is come a guest stay as family.  Its a small place nestled away from the main road and only about 100m from the beach.  There are lots of restaurants round and also a short walk to the main road.  They have great breakfast and restaurant and only about 11 units all facing a garden setting.  We found it more like a stay in the real Vietnam than the bigger hotels which could be anywhere in the world.
