There is a perfect beach view from the room. The stay is spacious and very clean. You get kitchen and utensils to cook. They have arranged for proper dining area . They also provide washing machine/hair dryer/television.

cheap luxury

Our plan for Nha Trang accomodation was not to go for the cheapest hotel but invest in something good. So after looking onto all the beautiful management pics we were under the impression that the Penthouse suite of Muong Thang Center is rock solid and the hotel beach is kind of an island in the middle of Nha Trang Tourist trouble. Reality was a little bit different than what we expected. 
Taxi driver dropped us at the beautiful 5- star hotel front but staff did show us the way to the backdoor. There you need to take one of the 3 elevators (always some queue) to 31st floor to find the kind of reception for the appartments. Upper appartments, especially those with partial sea view are rented/ lended by all kind of companies, so a lot of nationalities will mix, predominantly Chinese, Vietnamese, Russian.
Appartment itself was ok but only at first look. Dots and spots at the couch, a flickering light here, no warm water in the shower, entrance door a laugh ( not secure), Worst: thousands of little ants anywhere. Best: the view at the bay. Pls. be aware of Disco music until 3am from the nearby Beach bar and opposite roof top bar.
Beach is crowded but nice. Beach bed is a 100k Dong/ day. Beach bed rental could be horror so you better be there early, but still the could fill up empty spots with sunbeds and you would find yourself squeezed yourself with a Russian party of 3 under 1 umbrella. Usually wind comes up in the afternoon, this is when the water is starting to be covered by plastic and other trash (they will collect in the morning from the beach). The nice management fotos have been shot from the Beach Bar, appr. 200m away, giving you an impression of a secret beach feeling.

Fotos little bit different than Reality 

Muong Thanh Nha Trang Centre is part of the Muong Thanh Hotel complex, but travelling with a family of six people, the apartments in the centre offered a more cost effective package than the hotel.

But the website advertising for this property is highly deceptive, if not a downright lie.

Yes, there is a pool and other up-market facilities - but they are in the Muong Thanh Hotel and you pay extra for any access to these, such as VND 75,000 per person to use the swimming pool   With six people this comes to VND 450,000 a day extra.

There are only three lifts servicing this high rise apartment and you can wait an age for one to come to your floor, because they all seem to be going up or down at the same time, often all at the same floor at the same time.

But I will admit that our apartment had spectacular views the entire length of Nha Trang Beach.

Not As Adverftised

Just checked into my apartment, every negative comment is true about this place from the dodgy dark alley entrance to the noise to the unclean apartment. I can now also officially add a leaking toilet when you flush and the terrible toilet smell that sits permanently in the apartment. Have tried calling to get moved and no answer, maybe this post will prompt a reaction from management!!

I took the liberty of flushing a clean toilet for the pics to avoid anyone throwing up over them. 

Stay anywhere else...

Absolutely disgusting!!

Booked this apartment based on the photos and description and was completely misled. Extremely unhappy. This place is so terrible that my friend and I paid for 5 nights and are only staying 2. We are trying to receive a refund with little luck but refuse to spend the rest of our holiday here.
1. The description claims the hotel has a pool, restaurants and private beach, which were the main reasons we chose this hotel. We soon discovered the pool and restaurants are in the hotel next door, and we were made to pay to use the pool. There is also no private beach.
2. We found multiple bugs in the apartment. 
3. The doors inside are broken. 
3. We found an old used cigarette butt sitting in the middle of the floor, clearly from the previous people, so how are we to be sure the room was even cleaned prior to our arrival?
4. Minimal toiletries, 1 body wash and 2 rolls of toilet paper to last us 5 days, which were not replaced or stocked when the room was "cleaned".
5. Cleaners came to our room, all they did was sweep and replace towels and left the bag of rubbish we had ready to be taken. 
6. There was no explanation on how to check in and it was extremely difficult to find out how. 
7. We specifically asked for 2 beds and received 1.
8. The wall power exploded my phone charger which has ruined my phone battery. The charger exploded while the phone was in my hand and has left my adapter and charger cord both with black burn marks and smoke. Extremely dangerous and will be expensive to fix my phone. 
9. The receptionists are absolutely no help at all. 
10. The elevators are horrendous. We spent forever waiting for elevators that were empty enough for 2 of us to fit. Once inside, they are extremely hot and stop at nearly every level on the way down. 
11. The bathroom design is horrific. The shower is open with no walls and the toilet is right next to it, while the shower drain is on the opposite side of the toilet to the shower, so the whole floor gets soaked. Also very minimal hot water and water pressure.
12. The whole place stinks of cigarettes, inside and outside the rooms.
I'm sure there is more, but I'm sure I've made my point pretty clear.
