The hotel located on a great location which have a spain restaurant and Thailand's foods .Breakfast in a quite small area but good foods and drinks , we really like Omlette with mushroom , onions , ham, cheese ..

The very friendly and polite staffs , they have Free water melon fresh juice when check in ,  we stayed in 201 which is big and clean view to the street as a big family .Lift quite small but run well , Btreakfast in the Lobby which quite good for some american and local ,

We booked and stay with this apartment through booking 3 times , the apartments big, clean good furniture , room with view by glasses but no opening windows , Breakfast - American type and some vietnamesse . But not for various lobby like big hotel , the building is tall but quite small , love Fresh water melon they gave me when check in .

We didnt stay here but eat their superb food and drank their delicious coffee.
The food is prepared by a chef from an exclusive hotel who also works here and the scrambled eggs croissant and coffee were all exceptional

We were staying in an airbnb accommodation round the corner from this restaurant and needed a family breakfast (we have two daughters aged 8 & 11) to see us on our way before a days sight seeing. We got beautifully presented western breakfast plates (with added veg) and impeccable service at a fantastic price. The staff were lovely.

We had a great stay AFTER clearing up the  problem that the Trip Advisor description is wrong. No pool, no gym etc. (Description on Hotels com site is correct). Also, when you arrive at 199 Calmette, the building says Home Suites on it (no mention of Diamond Suites at any point!). However, this is a great location, our family apartment was v comfortable and fairly high spec, and the staff were very helpful. Only suggestion for hotel would be curtains for privacy between glass partioned rooms!

We choose this place to stay due to positive feedback & the close proximity to Ben Thanh market, but for $100 per night, it's over price, as there is no fix person on duty for "front desk reception", as there's no front desk, the person pick you up from the airport is the same person checking you in & than he becomes a waiter for the coffee bar downstairs.

Single lift get you to your room, lift has mossies & no aircon.

The TV initially does not work, the toilet has little water to flush & need adjustments. The bath /shower facility is ridiculous, as every shower, leads to a flood, because the shower head is too short & all the water run back to the wall (& you need to clean up your own flood) & there is no safety rail to hold on to, to get in & out from shower, so extra care needed on stepping in & out of shower. 

The extra door of fire escape stairs has broken lock, held by a chain latch... 

Bed side lamp has broken plug... room has stained curtains, stained furniture Room has numerous electric power points to plugins electrical appliances but not all points works.. tours options are limited to excessively over price ones by approx 4 times the norm (typical ones to explore around Mekong delta). Thankfully the aircon work & we were able to sleep but could hear foot stepped from upstairs & outside rant.. & room made daily.

Outside is super dusty as in front of Ben Thanh market is undergo huge renovation. Surely you can find something better for $100 per night in HCM CITY without breakfast covered



Feel more like a hostel, feels creepy

Landed at 1am 28/11, went to the hotel and it was closed. Tried calling and the person on the other side of the phone do not speak English. Knocked on the door and no one opened it. It was like the hotel was on lock down. I had to drag my luggage around HCH and most hotel around was either full or very expensive. Finally checked into another hotel at 4am.

Booked the hotel through Hotels.com. Hotels. Com do not provide refund unless the hotel does and the hotel did not even response.

Definetely one of the worth experience ever. 

If this was to happen to a girl, I cannot image a girl pulling a luggage around at 3 am in the morning, in a foreign country. 

The worst is not take action after a complain was made. 


The worth experience in my life 

By not sending the threats to the customer. Please be careful when you book this hotel. I had booked there for 3 days then had cancelled because it was too awful. The room was very dark and had a funny smell when you open a door. The receptionist was odd and rude. Nobody changed a room for me after I complaint even give me a big smile. 

Never recommend

We traveled all over Asia and this hotel was 100% the worst. 

We where meant to stay 3 nights but didn’t even stay one night and then the hotel refuses to refund our money! 

First of all when we arrived in a taxi outside the hotel the courtyard area was getting rebuilt which we where not aware of. 

Anyhow we checked in and went up to our room in a lift you could barely fit 3 people into. First thing when we opened the door of the room was the stink of damp in the room. 

We kept walking towards the back of the room and this is when you could see the place is dirty. The kitchen counter tops are not clean, the floor and the bed sheets!

Next thing we where sitting on the bed and saw a lizard in the room running behind the air con unit, after this we seen 2 more. 

We were also freaked out by the scratching noises coming from the ceiling! It was more then a lizard. 

So PLEASE don’t stay in this hotel! There are so many better places to stay for the same price or less as we found out!
