I came with friends to Punta del Este from London and had no idea where to stay. We took a bet on Casa Sul Mare and found this place to be perfectly located and with a wonderful host, Sylvia. Highly recommended.

A gem

Lovely place! Rooms are great, and Silvia the owner was very kind, sweet and helpful. She gave us lots of recommendations for activities in Punta del Este and places to visit around the area. I would say one of the best services I've ever had at a b&b. The area is perfect, you can walk to the beach and move around pretty easy. We rented a car and it was very confortable to park it right next to the house, then in the mornings we would have breakfast (one of the things I loved the most during our stay) and then hit the road to go either north to Jose Ignacio and Cabo Polonio, or south to Punta del Este and then made our way back to the hotel at night to have a perfect rest. I would definitely recommend Casa Sul Mare!!!

Home away from home.

We have been in Casa sul Mare for some days and we enjoyed very much. The owner is a super sweet person, who was always ready to help us and to give informations and good advices. The location is very good, near the beach, Punta del este and other nice touristic places in the area.  Franz and Denise

Super friendly owner

I was there with my family and had one of the best vacations we ever had. The location of Casa Sul Mare is excellent, half a block away from the beach. There is easy access to one of the best beaches in the area. The owner was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make sure we got to live the best of Punta del Este and La Barra. She recommended great restaurants and places to visit and helped us navigate how to get it all done.

We will definitely stay there on our next visit to La Barra.

Great location and service

Casa Sul Mare is a quaint little B&B outside of La Barra. I have stayed here several times. Rooms are sufficient and the location is great, across the street from the beach. But the owner makes the place great. Silvia is a lovely lady who will makes you feel like part of the family.

Silvia Is Lovely

Stayed three nights with the family.  This is not luxurious.  Rather, it's a charming bed and breakfast, with a nice garden, one block from the beach, a decent breakfast, and nice size rooms.  The owner is very responsive, always on site, and very knowledgeable about the area.  You can stay at nicer places, but it will cost you.  Very good value for the money.
