The facilities at this place are lovely. The trails are beautiful, the hot tub was great. The lodge was clean. However, the experience was ruined by the disorganized staff. Each time I went to the front desk I had to wait several minutes for someone to help me because it was unattended. When I was finally noticed the employee was rude and unhelpful. My confirmation email said to check in at 1.pm. when I arrived after waiting several minutes for someone at the front desk I was abrasively told check in wasn't until 3 and that I was wrong even though I showed her my email. She didn't offer any apology for the miscommunication just  stared at me until I left. When I returned later for check in I once again had to wait several minutes before I could get someone to help. The front desk attendant was out setting a bon fire for another group so that was understandable. He was much kinder and more helpful than the previous employee. He told us about the grounds and the accommodations. He told us that a hot breakfast was served in the morning from 8-10. We enjoyed our eveningand got up to go get breakfast and check out. When we went to the main building for breakfast the rude woman from the previous day was at the front she asked us in a rude tone where we were going. We said we were going to breakfast. She rolled her eyes as said they don't have hot breakfast and if the person who told us that last night "knew how to do his job" then he would have told us the only breakfast option was a grab and go breakfast. She walked away and came back with small breakfast boxes then once again instead of communicating with me she just stared at me until I said we would just be checking out to leave. 
I really wish the staff hadn't tainted our stay. The grounds are truly gorgeous and the deer wondering just outside our window was fun to wake up to.

Nice facility, rude people

My family celebrated a big birthday here in August of 2021 and just loved it.  Trisha made us feel so welcome.  We had a great time at the pool and exploring the grounds in our rented golf cart.  We also had a private room in the grand lodge for a delicious dinner of chicken marsala.  We stayed in lodges 6 and 8, and they were perfect for us (each of these has four rooms with two double beds and their own bathroom).  POSTOAK is at the top of my list for the next time we're in Tulsa.  Oh, and breakfast was excellent!

Wonderful accommodations, grounds, and staff

We did the zip line this morning and it was fantastic! Shannon, Ethan, and Josh were great guides. They were very knowledgeable and safe, but also funny. The course was a perfect blend of speed and fun. We will be coming back again!

Zip line is awesome!!

PostOak was the venue we chose for our wedding reception. When our wedding ceremony venue closed for covid, PostOak came through and found a way to accommodate an outdoor wedding ceremony for us as well. Jenn was amazing!  Pretty sure my parents would adopt her if they could. Our family loved staying in a lodge and seeing more of each other. It was beautiful. And, not that anyone could have planned this, but deer literally walked behind us as we finished our vows. It was memorable, beautiful and allowed us to feel safe and for our guests to attend and social distance. We will be forever grateful.

Beautiful November Wedding!

Phillip and Mason are great! Knew their stuff, made everything fun, we will definitely be back in the spring! The gear was safe, everyone felt very comfortable.They take pictures during the zipping, so you don't have to, and they are reasonably priced, unlike other "tours" that charge you so much it isn't worth it.

We decided to go evening zip lining at Postoak Lodge & Retreat before Christmas.  It was such a great experience and everyone at the lodge was fabulous.   Every person that worked at the lodge was professional and very knowledge about what they needed to do to keep everyone safe.  They explained what they were doing and what to expect.  I would highly recommend the Postoak Lodge & Retreat, we will be going zip lining again.

Great fun zip lining

Wonderful time, awesome & patient guides. We are planning a group trip back in March.  This was my 2nd time at this zip line and I have not had a bad experience.  I would recommend this place to anyone for their first time zipping, this is a great place to start!  Well worth the money

HOLIDAY ZIP LINE

This was are fifth zip line tour this week and it was by far the most fun.  Mason, Cody, and Olivia was a guided tour guides and did a fantastic job. We are as we've been tagged Zip Pros, we have done 35 states and going to do all 50 states.

The weather was great even it was alittle breezy.  Thanks Postoak for a great day of zipping.

Postoak Canopy Zipline tour

We held my daughter’s wedding and reception at POSTOAK Lodge in late October. WOW!! What can I say – we were blown away! Our coordinator was Jenn and it would be impossible to overstate how wonderful she was to work with! Any concern, any problem, any complication – Jenn was able to find a solution and meet every need that we had. The property itself is so beautiful and peaceful! It was the perfect backdrop for an outdoor fall ceremony! The food was DELICIOUS!! The Lodge worked with us to design a brunch menu that was outstanding. Our guests went home very full and happy! Every single member of staff that we interacted with were professional, helpful, and kind – everyone seemed more than willing to go the extra mile to make sure that every guest there could want for nothing. When you meet with them to plan your event, they tell you that their goal is to make it “POSTOAK Perfect”. They absolutely achieved that goal for our event! It was PERFECT! Sending a HUGE thank you to the entire staff and especially to Jenn – our memories of that day will always be wonderful, and a huge part of that is thanks to Jenn!

Perfect wedding venue!

We were there during inclement weather so not much outdoor fun! But there was plenty to do indoors too! Games and workout equipment, large cable tv in main area. And oh the staff were just precious from front desk to housekeeping. We were delighted by our visit there and plan to go again!
