Room 108 has NO ocean view. We were told it had a side view of the ocean, it dose not. It over looks the side parking lot, some trees and I believe pool a equipment. Unit was very clean. FYI, No starter coffee packets. Staff was helpful and friendly.

We last minute traded into a “B” unit, which was a one bedroom lock-off suite from the main “A” suite. 

PRO - Unit was clean, well maintained, staff was friendly, there was plenty of free parking. Condo was literally 40 steps from white sand beach. There were two elevators for only six floors. A shaded adult pool and hot tub along with a kiddie pool provided an alternate to the sandy beach.

CON - Unit had NO temperature control within the “B” unit- temperature was controlled by “A” unit. Unit had NO INTERNAL DOOR LOCK, unit’s walls were paper thin to hear into “A” unit. Unit still used manual keys that could easily get lost or stolen.

I feel between the no internal locks in the unit and the use of manual keys, SECURITY is a definite issue!

Resort on the beach, but several issues prevail.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. We had a gorgeous view from our room and balcony. My son loved the kiddie pool. I love how close we were to the beach. I also was very pleased that they provide dish pods and toilet paper as you need it. We had a great time

We were aware that "B Units” (smaller lock-off) at Sand Pebble had some poorer reviews, but were pleasantly surprised by the resort, the unit, and the staff.  The resort is easy walking distance to John’s Pass (channel and drawbridge between Treasures Island and Madeira Beach) with seafood restaurants and myriad aquatic activities; and the walks along the beautiful soft white sand was a reminder of the real Florida – no high rises and beautiful beaches and sunsets. The B Unit #107B was sizeable and comfortable, with two flat screen TVs and an extra in-room A/C (the A/C controls were in unit 107A but we were always comfortable.  As a couple, we would have preferred one King or Queen bed.  There was no dishwasher in the very small kitchenette area so all dishes were hand washed.  The only complaint was that the two stove-top burners did not heat to HI temperature, and it took a while to boil water for tea.  The pool deck area was well maintained, and the hot tub was Hot!  Beach access was simple.  Parking was easy under cover or open. Overall, the resort was right sized for the location and amenities.  All staff were helpful and efficient.

Right Sized Resort with Great Location

We have stayed at this property probably 5 times and have enjoyed every visit, even when Florida temperatures reach a high of 60. The place is well maintained and the staff ready to assist for any need. The rooms are large, clean, and accommodating.

TREASURE ON TREASURE ISLAND

Nice beach front resort in a good location. Good staff. Our room was clean and comfortable. All the rooms are not the same so check what type/location your unit will be. Would definitely recommend this resort.

Great stay

This is our third trip to this resort. We always find something to while in the Tampa / St. Pete area. This trip, we went to the Chihuli Museum. We also took a catamaran trip. The resort is conveniently located close to restaurants, if you choose to not cook, and golf courses. My husband fished several days and I relaxed by the pool. We'll be back next year!

Enjoyed our week at Sand Pebble Resort in Treasure Island, FL

We are not particularly demanding vacationers, just looking for the basics like a clean unit and the ability to access amenities that should be operational.    Upon arrival (we checked in late) the dishes, pots and silverware including the container for the silverware were filthy.   Had to wash and clean everything.    When I say filthy I mean food crusted on plates and pots and on silverware from last guests.   The igniter on the really old and dirty looking grills have been disabled so to use the grills you need a lighter, as a non-smoker that’s not something I have so couldn’t use the grills.  Unit furnishings are getting old.   Comparable VRI Resorts on the west coast of Florida offer beach chairs but none here.  Disappointed!

Standards seem to be really slipping here.

The resort is small but has everything.  It is nearby to restaurants.  Right on the beach.   You can walk to restaurants.  Fun parks are a drive away.  Clean and friendly staff.  Pool, kiddie pool and jacuzzi well located.  Sunsets galore! 

A Gem

Great location on beach and easy access to it. Staff was great, friendly and helpful. Split 2 bedroom/2bath unit gave privacy for ourselves & our friends who joined us. Side balcony provided great view
