11 reviewsWe stayed at Collins Avenue Apartments while attending the National Association of Journalists at the JW Marriott Turnberry Resort and Spa which was a 5$-$6 Uber ride away. We found it on Booking.com only a few days before the conference started and were happily surprised to find a place for such a great price, a 30min drive from downtown Miami and right across from the beach (although we never went to the beach because it was way too hot). The place is an apartment not a hotel so, like an Air B&B, they don’t clean your room or bring you new toilet paper or towels but the place is clean, the bed is huge and comfortable and the building has 24-hr security. Parking is only $5/day. Marina who owns the place meets you when you check in and is very responsive by phone. We would definitely go back.
