Don’t waste your time booking here honestly book the comfort inn or vatmont across the street . Hotel service is horrible, staff is rude, only one side of the facility has stair access the other side has to walk from the other side just to go downstairs, laundry is very crowded and machines aren’t well kept up. Rooms are nice and remodeled but housekeeping doesn’t like to change towels or sheets . Slow to care for guests says breakfast is available and isn’t . 

A waste of time 

Booked this room for the 24th because we were super sleepy driving home. Got a call from family for an emergency. So we still stopped at hotel to advise them we would not be able to stay due to needing to get back home asap. Counter lady said that expedia could issue a refund for our stay.  So contacted expedia about the refund. They contacted hotel and hotel advised they don't issue refunds for booked rooms! What a damn joke.. 75.00 for a room we couldn't stay in and even took the time to stop in and speak to the owners..

Don't bother booking

Honestly, the room smelled so bad of weed and cigarettes. I made a Walmart run for two bottles of febreeze, scent smells, and sanitizer. We stepped outside and back in and we had it masked for our stay somewhat. The room and bathrooms were clean, everything worked. But the front desk girl had a don’t care attitude so I didn’t even bother trying to get a new room. Property was quiet and good. Sad the breakfast options were gone by 10 and no juice. I appreciate that dogs are allowed. 

Shawnee Sleep Over

Made a reservation there and could not find the hotel because the sign was off. After checking in found the condition of the building in a poor state considering it was listed as a four star hotel. the room was all right, except when we tried to call the front desk the phone did not work. We went to the desk and we were told there was no one to fix it. Nothing was offered to fix the problem by the front desk. This is a property that uses the  Wyndham hotel name, but in my opinion it doesn't meet their standards. The hotel is undergoing renovation and had a fire, but that information should be passed on when making reservations.

Not worth the rating

New vanity counter in guest room was very clean but sheets had holes and stains.  A cockroach was by the sink. Really awful. 
The free "breakfast" was minimal - cold cereal, nothing to toast, and the only fruit were mealy apples that were not edible. Fridge door in breakfast area was missing a handle and hard to open while searching for milk. Coffee was in an urn and barely warm. 
This room was barely worth about half the price paid.

Clean, but in need of repair, replacement and upgrades. Needs cockroach fumigation.

I had booked and paid for a non-smoking room. Upon entering, there was a strong and lingering cigarette smoke odor. In attempt to ignore the issue, we noticed flies and gnats flying around in addition to the lack of cleanliness in the room and bathroom. 

Room Condition

Have stayed here about four times in the last two years. The ice machine has never worked, and have never had HOT coffee. But the last visit will definitely BE our last visit. Hair all over the shower, and toothpaste on the faucet. With a Quality Hotel in the same parking lot, you would think the owners would do better.

Go somewhere else

This is a well maintained, very clean, older property that provides a safe, clean room for a very reasonable price. 

Their is no breakfast and reduced housekeeping due to COVID-19.

Small pets are allowed; one of the few hotels in the area that do so.

We found the staff to be very helpful and kind.

Great value for an older property

Room smells like human excrement right off the bat. The mirror was broken, light was cracked. Tub was not clean, hadn't been cleaned for some time, as it was covered in hair and grime. The sheets were used, dirty, smelly, had hair all over them and the pillows. The comforter was stained and smelled really bad. There were what looked like boogers on the wall, phone, and TV remote control. Lasted maybe an hour, requested a refund. Gal at the desk wasn't interested in how gross the room was, said, "yeah, it's a pet friendly room," like that makes it okay.

Really gross

Well Renovated room, exceptional clean, everything (like sink, shower, comfortable bed, AC) worked really well.  Desk staff were efficient, friendly, and helpful.  As traveling seniors avoiding personal contact, we appreciated having individual outside room entrances (no elevators) as well as separate individual HVAC units serving on our room.
