My husband and I had a great stay at the  Cypress House.  Veda and Bill were the best hosts.  They were very welcoming, informative, and attentive to our needs.  The rooms were clean and cozy.  I loved the wrap around porch and the backyard is absolutely gorgeous. It was so nice waking up to breakfast each morning and conversing with other guests.
I highly recommend checking this beautiful house out if you are looking for a location super close to the beach. We will definitely be back soon.

Beautiful and welcoming

Cypress Inn is a perfect location to visit for exploring the Outer Banks. It’s right at the entrance to the beach, a great bike rental is a 5 minute walk away and we could bike to the Wright National Monument. Many restaurant offers and we loved the homemade breakfast each  day at the inn. The guest room was spacious, cozy and the modern bathrooms were perfect. Can’t wait to visit Bill and Veda in the future.

We had a wonderful weekend stay here with the inn keepers Veda and Bill Peter’s. We were very well taken care of in every way…clean accommodations, wonderfully breakfast each morning, great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. The facility is a beautiful 1940’s hunting lodge with all the old charm and character but with modern updates of necessary areas. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes to slow down a bit and step back in time a little to a bygone era.

Exceptional!

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful 4 days on the OBX while we stayed at the Cypress House Inn in Kill Devil Hills.  Bill and Veda were wonderful hosts!  Our room was perfectly comfortable in every respect; the freshly prepared breakfasts were delicious; location to OBX activities, dining options and beach access was perfect!  We highly recommend this great find!

Outstanding people, service and location. Breakfast was outstanding and the talks with fellow customers was pleasant and d helpful. Don't look any further and book! Added bonus when the daughter who is opening her own bakery cooked some delicious scones for us

An excellent choice. Veda & Bill are superb hosts, who have the right touch for guests, very helpful when needed.
Breakfast were superb, and property is quiet at night.
Not sure we'll have another occasion to return, but if we do this would be our #1 choice

For our first stay in OBX we chose the Cypress Inn B&B and couldn't have been more pleased with our choice.  Bill and Veda are gracious, knowledgeable hosts.  Their Inn is clean, cozy and comfortable with many areas to relax, including your room, the living and dining area and lots of outdoor space on the veranda and in the yard. It's across the street from the beach and they provide beach towels, chairs and umbrellas.  The breakfasts are fresh and artfully prepared by Veda and Bill and they make the effort to visit with their guests and get to know you.  The B&B is centrally located close to many sights and Bill and Veda made many useful recommendations for places to eat and visit.  The decor is warm and inviting and very beachy with all the rich cypress wood.  Our trip to OBX was made more memorable with our stay at Cypress House .  We highly recommend this location to all who want a more personal and cozy stay in OBX. Thank you Bill and Veda.

Cozy and Personal

We had a wonderful stay at Cyprus Hill Inn. Our room was very comfortable and having access to coffee early was nice. Bill and Veda are superb hosts, and the breakfasts were the highlight of our days. In a world where the hospitality industry is going virtual, Bill and Veda are going old school and doing it right and I’m all for it! Thank you!
