We enjoyed our staycation at Fort Myers Beach. The building is older but clean and comfortable.  The location of the resort is walkable to Time Square and Nervous Nellies. The Fort Myers Beach is just across the road with facilities. We enjoyed swimming and people watching at the beach and spending time around the pool. We liked the location and hotel very much, so we booked it two more times in the next 8 months. 

Sandcaste Beach Club

This resort is right by Times Square. It’s the perfect location if you want to be right near the action. Unit was large. There is a 7-11 store directly next door. 

We did have issues with the lift not working a couple of days. This makes it difficult for the handicap. I wish the bathrooms had fans. They are small and there is so much moisture after taking a shower that even the TP was damp. 

I would definitely stay here again.

Location Location Location

In this horrible year of isolating and both cruises and other travel being canceled this was a great getaway.  Lots of outdoor restaurants and activities to enjoy.  We are very covid concious so we wore masks into all the dining establishments until seated but if you are being careful check first.

Getaway

Beautiful, small family oriented, friendly place to stay right across from the beach. The Sandcastle is centrally located on Fort Myers Beach. It is within a short walking distance of the beach, pier, shopping and all types of restaurants and night life. 

Great vacation spot!

Very disappointed with exchange. No coffee starter packs. Told to go next store to 7 eleven for a cup.  No tissues, shampoo, etc. All perks from other resorts. Place is OK for a stop-over but not for long.

Not Happy

So close to everything.  Had an issue w/ the toilet upon arrival but was corrected promptly by management.  Clean property.  Appreciated the gas grills.  Unit is a little on the small side but overall we were comfortable.

Location Location Location!

Built in the 50's this location is a great way to enjoy a simple vacation in a sunny climate.  No "bling" but we had all we needed to be comfortable.  Local restaurants and shops, plus the proximity to the beach was a big plus!

Step back and enjoy

Don’t let the fact that this is a converted motel influence your decision to stay here.  We stayed in an efficiency unit and it was small, but very clean and well stocked.  The pool is in great shape and location cannot be beaten (right across the street from SBC).  Next door convenience store was also very helpful.  Staff and other visitors/owners were very friendly....probably because it is small!  Enjoy!

Great location in Fort Myers Beach

We shared a 2 bedroom unit with the people who owned it for  the 2 weeks.  So handy to the beach, small stores and many restaurants.  Close to Naples and their great eateries. 
They have a great pool on site.  Washer and dryer is outside and we all used it.  Great to come home with clean clothes.  Beach area is very nice and there is a  pier across the road from these units.  Also Fri and Sat nights they have live bands by the beach.  Right by an ice cream store so we had that and listened to the music.  Fort Myers Beach is a great area.

Holiday

Kitchen are very tiny plan on eating out if there's more than one or two people in a unit. Also very cheaply remodeled cabinets backsplash falling apart. Pool was pretty nice not really worth the money to us.
