Nice place with unusually spacious rooms that have been recently renovated.  Reasonably priced.  Easy location right by the highway.  Our room was on the end and it was quiet.  There's a little patio by the office that we used to enjoy a picnic, which was nice.

Big room, modest price

We could not have had a better experience than we had here. Our adult cat was welcome with a small fee and our room was very clean and comfortable.We were visiting the area to attend a funeral and the managment and staff went above and beyound to make us feel at home.Two days after the funeral our transmission in our van went kaput which gave us a new challange. Manager Mark extended our stay without hesitation. The houskeeping and office staff saw to it that our every need was met. Tara, Linda , Clarence and Mark made up the staff and each one excelled in their duties, We will stay there again and will look forward to seeing our "new friends" again.

Our stay was a pure delight.

I cant say enough good things about this little motel. The staff bent over backwards for us during our stay even going as far as shuttling us back and forth from the music venue in town. They let us check out later as well due to our fishing trip running a little late. The room was basic but clean and comfortable.Perfect base camp! Great Hospitality

We booked two rooms for 1 night on a busy Blue Ridge weekend. 
Both rooms were filthy. One room had dirty smelly carpeting the other had dirty sticky vinyl flooring. One toilet would not flush and one shower had very low water pressure and hardly any hot water.Beds are on very low platforms with no box spring. Beds were very uncomfortable. No hair dryers in rooms. You can walk down stairs (literally) to borrow one from the office. Upon check out there was no inquiry about our stay or a thank you. When we told the office about the toilet situation we were met with a blank stare and zero apologies. I realize these are tough times, but you guys aren't even trying.

Thankful to find lodging but will never return!!

The motel  was beautifully renovated from top to bottom.. The beds, the carpeting, the refrigerator, the plumbing fixtures, and A/C all look new.  Karl, the owner who lives on the premise did everything possible to make us happy. The place was quiet. We were on the 2nd floor with a very nice  view of the mountains.  Well worth the money. Can`t wait to go back.

The Ducktown Copper Inn, is a great place to stay near Blue Ridge and McCaysville. If you are looking for a clean, no frills hotel, with a great price, then this is the place to stay. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. You can relax and enjoy the mountain views from the balcony, as there are rockers to use.  We stayed two nights, and enjoyed kayaking and exploring the towns of Blue Ridge and McCaysville.  Gary, made sure we had everything we needed (extra coffee, towels, etc.) to enjoy our stay!  We will return in the future!

Great place to stay near Blue Ridge

Rooms were clean, simply appointed but had everything you need for a night (or 7)...
Friendly staff, incredibly comfortable beds at a great price.  Highly recommend for anyone who wants nice accommodation located near the beautiful Ocoee River and Cherokee National Forest as well as McCaysville and Blue Ridge.

Perfectly affordable, comfortable, clean, well appointed rooms with friendly staff!

Myself and my mom took a trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains to see some fall leaves. The Ducktown Copper Inn had the cheapest room rates during the days we would be there so we stayed there. The staff we encountered was very friendly. The room (208) was very clean. It even came equipped with a microwave and refrigerator. The only issue we had with the room was the shower. Water from the shower came out at a trickle. 

The Ducktown Copper Inn is located close to many hikes and scenic views in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Tennessee, North Carolina, and Georgia. Nearby, there’s a dollar store for any necessities for your visit. There is only a Hardee’s down the street from the motel. However, if you drive about 3.5 miles down the road to Copperhill, TN/McCaysville, GA your restaurant choices expand greatly.

Overall, the Ducktown Copper Inn did just what a hotel was meant to do which is provide a clean place to sleep. You don’t get a free continental breakfast, a heated swimming pool, or even a business center, so it’s definitely no Ritz Carlton or Comfort Inn. But when you vacation in the mountains, you only have time to enjoy a nice clean bed to sleep on and the Ducktown Copper Inn delivers in that regard.

Just what you need in a motel

I was with a large group that stayed at the Ducktown Copper Inn and the entire stay was a pleasant experience. We were greeted by Golden Retriever Copper at check in and owner Jerry quickly handled reservations for 23 rooms!   The rooms were clean and comfortable.  Many of us went next door to the pizza restaurant and had excellent pizza’s for dinner. I highly recommend Ducktown Copper Inn.

Great place to stay

I had been on my motorcycle for 13 hours on the day I rode by this place and saw a restaurant right next door and decided to stop and see about a room.  Took a room on the upper levels (cheaper since the elevator isn't operational), and the room itself was clean and comfortable, with a fridge and microwave and coffee maker too.  I walked over to the restaurant and was really surprised to get a very tasty pizza from the place.  So, overall my stay was really good.  I couldn't get any hot water, but wasn't a big deal necessarily since it was a warm day and I needed to cool off, but not sure why I couldn't get any hot water for a shower, or for a shave the next morning.  Other than that, for the price, hard to beat.  Nice fluffy towels too, better than average for a budget hotel.
