Do not stay here unless you want to be charged frivolous fees after you check out.  I was charged $25 for “stealing towels” 3 hours after check out.  I travel for work and spend 300 nights a year in hotels.  I do not want your dingy towels.  Word of advice: have them check your room to ensure they see all their linens are present before you get 200 miles away and there is nothing you can do.

very dirty and ran down. Don't stay here.  The bathtub was filthy. Considered sleeping in my car. I thought since this was a Choice Hotel it would be ok, but no.  I feel like I was robbed and should get a credit back. I'm going with Wyndham hotel next time.

Dirty - Will sleep in car next time

Avoid this dump. Motel room was not cleaned. Toilet seat covered in urine, floor hadn’t been vacuumed. Only one towel in bathroom with gross yellow stuff on it. Entire motel smells like smoke. You’re better off sleeping in your car. Wouldn’t stay here again if it was free.

Disgusting motel

Through the years, I've probably stayed in hundreds of hotels and motels.  I could go into detail, but it's not worth the time.  This place should not be listed as an option on travel sites as it's really not appropriate for ANYONE.  I try to be as generous as I can be when reviewing, however I have nothing positive to say.  Service was beyond rude.  The rooms were as bad as a room can get.  The hallways were filthy, the front desk was filthy.  Overall, I really can't believe this place has not been condemned.  I called Choice Hotels and the booking site I got the room from to voice specifics as to just how sub-par this hotel was.  First time I've ever felt compelled to do that.  

Honestly, the worst hotel I've ever stayed in

I can's believe choice hotels would even consider this death trap as a choice hotel. I was in the area and looking for an affordable extended stay on a budget, and not to mention the city was booked for a softball and other event week and holiday weekend.  This room was pure filth, I had to go buy cleaning supplies and bedding to be able to stand staying here, and it was still a challenge.  I did not receive maid service for over 3 days, had to go ask for new grey towels daily.  My garbage overflowed to point I had to take the trash out.  Nothing was clean, nothing.  Cigarette smoke filled the whole building.  Code violations everywhere.  Pliers were provided to turn on the air conditioner.  This place will be shut down or fined in the near future. Absolutely do not stay or even walk in the door here, it needs to be condemned.

Filth

All I can say and I said it to management, booking.com and Choice hotels, tear the place down!  Bugs in the bathroom, ripped sheets and pillow cases, moldy shower curtain, no WiFi.  The staff dressed like they were maintenance workers instead of front desk material.  Didn’t seem interested in my business.  I should have left.

Horrible 

At least the room was clean and the water hot. It was realively cheap, but it’s a dump. It really was awfully tired and run down, nothing like the pictur on line.  It’s an embarrassment to the area, avoid it.

Falling Down

I make a point of writing positive reviews, but cannot do so here. We had the misfortune to need rooms in Cheyenne during CFD, and these were the last we could afford, albeit at a vastly inflated price. The public spaces are really filthy -  luckily the bedrooms were a bit more acceptable. Although the staff at reception were as helpful as they could be, there was little they could do to fix all the issues they faced. In one of our rooms the plumbing was blocked and the toilet backed up badly. Nothing was done to remedy this during our first day, so we checked out early the next morning- a day ahead of schedule. We did get refunded immediately. Apparently the hotel is slated for demolition, and it shows. Obviously nothing is being done to repair or replace items, or even clean up the grounds. I am surprised that the health and sanitation department continues to license the property.

Even if it's the last room in town, don't stay here.

This is a shabby place in looks and in spirit. 
I usually write only positive reviews, but I paid and lost $86 to reserve pet-friendly room online at this motel. The man at the desk demanded an extra $50 for my two dogs, "it's policy" he said as he pointed at a small sign at the end of the counter. I was polite and told him I wanted to cancel. I assured him I am responsible and my dogs are not a problem and I did not want to pay an extra $50. He said he could not cancel an online reservation, so I called Expedia and they kept me on hold as they tried to reach the motel by phone. The hotel desk guy would not pick up, so the Expedia rep told me they would keep trying to get my cancellation resolved and contact me later. A week later an email from Expedia informed me the motel has a "policy" and I could not get a refund. *They have a policy to be deceptive and over-charge.
1.I believe the man at the desk should have told me I would not be able to get a refund. 2. I believe Expedia should have included the pet fee in the online price since I specifically used a pet friendly filter to find this room, or at least it should be noted in their description. 3. $50 would be ok as a pet deposit, but not an outright fee. Silly.

Pass

Where to begin:  staff pleasant but that was the only positive. Thought the room was fairly clean until I closed the door to use the bathroom and there was a wad of used toilet paper behind the door.  OMG what did the maid clean!!  Bed soft pillows lumpy. TV did not work maintenance came and found cable had been pulled out of tv and connection was gone. Not sure I would try another Rodeway Inn but definitely woundn't use this one.  They did offer a lite breakfast
