Very friendly staff, easy beach access, nearby restaurants, fireplace was special, room was very clean, our room had a nice ocean view.  One of the best hotels I stayed in.

Awesome room with a full ocean view and patio.... plus a really nice table inside with view also.

First time we stayed here but we’ll be back. Very nice room and great staff.

The ocean was steps away.  We enjoyed the walking path and the view from our room.

This is our very place to stay in Cambria! It is so clean and comfortable! We love that they offer continental breakfast! It is so nice to be able to walk to the beach and to dinner!This is our home away from home!!

The hotel is a small gem steps from Moonstone Beach that is also next door to the fabulous Sea Chest restaurant. Free breakfast is simple but filing with pastry from local favorite Linn’s, staff is friendly, and rooms are immaculate.

The staff was very nice and accommodating and helpful and pleasant for anything we needed.  Breakfast very basic, but fit the needs to get us going for the day.  Great location to get to the elephant seals, Hearst Castle, Paso Robles Winery.  Downtown Cambria very close and nice shops.  Everyone very friendly there too.

Great stay at Little Sur Inn

Hotel is beachfront, a short walk over to the beach boardwalk. Our bed was comfortable and the hotel was very quiet, which was a plus. The room and facility was very clean and the grounds well kept. The continental breakfast was okay, no hot food is served, but did have some good pastries available.We arrived late evening & our room was freezing. the heat source was a fireplace which took a couple of hours to heat the room. Once the room was warm it did retain heat as long as we kept the fireplace thermostat at about 72-75 degrees during our stay. The bathroom heat source was a light/ exhaust fan/ heat unit, which didn't always heat the bathroom adequately.In all, we enjoyed our stay and the convenience of the location to the beach and downtown Cambria.

Nice confortable room with a balcony and a firepñace.  The room is large including the bathroom.  It has both a standing shower and a tub. “Breakfast” is served from 8-10.  I would have like to have it open earlier.  The selections included hard boiled eggs, fruit, instant oatmeal granola, yogurt and danish.  I would consider it a continental breakfast.

We’ve stayed here before as well as several other inns on Moonstone beach. The rooms are spotless, roomy, nice microwave & frig area. Bathroom is large with ample supply of towels and toiletries. Love the large vanity so I could put my toiletries away. Shower /tub has a grab bar and sticky strips on tub floor so it’s not slippery.   Breakfast small but very adequate (granola, instant oatmeal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs,pastries from Linns bakery, coffee hot and fresh. ). Then in the afternoon at reception area there are large (made every morning) chocolate chip cookies. Happy camper !

Place to stay on Moonstone beach, Cambria

Love the view in my room, however was given the lower corner side near the parking area thus, the traffic of people and cars made it less cozy. I can also hear the footsteps from upstairs guests. Tried booking an extra day prior to previously booked trip and the lady who answered was not patient enough in looking for a room and just said, “we’re full” and hang up but online, there were rooms available.

Absolutely the cutest inn on the coast. The view with morning coffee was absolutely stunning. Restaurant next door was so good. We had a very very late check in due to traffic and the front desk was ready for us and so quick to get us our room and still a few minutes to grab a late dinner next door. The breakfast the next morning was an added touch. Hot coffee and yummy pastries as we grabbed them for our walk along the beach.

Beautiful

The hotel was extremely clean and offered great views of the ocean from room 20. The room fire place offered plenty of heat allowing us to keep our windows slightly open at night so we could listen to the ocean while we sleep. The shower pressure and water temperature was amazing. Our only recommendation would be to provide more options for the continental breakfast like bagels and more protein options however the yogurt was top notch. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you for the great service!

Girls' Trip. The room was so nice , very clean and felt like home. The room had a table/chairs, refrigerator and coffee maker. We all loved our very nice room with a fireplace and cozy beds. Easy, free parking and check in is convenient. Staff is wonderful. Good Breakfast and choices. Beautiful sunsets and lovely walking boardwalks near the beach. Close to the quaint Cambria strip. Cute shops with good food options. If you come in late, the restaurants do not stay open late. We ate at Round Up Pizza for dinner and they had about the best pizza I have ever eaten. The next day, we went to lovely Hearst Castle and came back to Cambria to eat a late lunch with fabulous Hamburgers at Main Street Grill. We would stay here again.

Lovely Sunsets and Cozy beds.

We reserved an ocean front room and that is exactly what it was. It was very clean and smelled fresh (and not that sterilized smell).The towels and bed linens where nice and clean and folded. The young woman at the front desk was extremely well spoken and personal. She was knowledgable about the area and places to visit. My wife and I had a great personal conversation with her while eating breakfast that next day. It's a place I will definitely recommend and want to stay there again.

Perfect ocean front get away

We stopped for the night on a trip to San Diego.  Great hospitality from a call while we were on route to a generous continental breakfast the next day.  The room was one of the more spacious rooms we have had the pleasure of staying at. Everything was fantastic and I highly recommend. 

We arrived at approximately 7:00 pm and did not have great luck finding a place to eat without a 90 minute wait. We ventured out a little bit to Main Street Grill which offered good service and food.  

When we returned to our room we took a walk along the boardwalk directly out front of our room.  

I highly recommend this hotel for families and couples.
