We stayed at this guest house from Monday 12th August to Friday 16th August. We found Catherine was an excellent hostess. She explained everything we needed to know on arrival and was able to advise us about places where we could get an evening meal. The breakfast was great with options for a cooked breakfast as well as cereals, toast, yogurt and fruit. This guest house is in an excellent location for the train station and local bus station. It is approximately a 25 minute walk to Bowness on Windermere where there are plenty of shops and restaurants available. We will definitely return to this guest house again.

A very nice place to stay for a reasonable price - hotel «The Haven» is located in Windermere. This hotel is located in the center of the city. In the morning, have a cup of coffee while looking at the city from the window. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel — Orrest Head, Windermere Jetty Museum of Boats, Steam and Stories and Old Laundry Theatre.
