We stayed here for the second year running as we were visiting the Tewkesbury Medieval Festival and also wanted to visit Stratford and Warwick.  Last time it was just husband and I but this time my in-laws joined us. 

The accommodation was as lovely as ever, always clean and fresh.  The rooms were just ideal, there are two double rooms so it was perfect for the two nights we stayed.  

Sue was as helpful as always, giving us directions and advice and her breakfast is superb [along with her home made jams]. We also took advantage of the amazing garden and sat out several times over the weekend.

We were sorry to leave, as the property is on the market so although it's possible that we may stay there again, it won't be with the same owner.  Sue gave us several jars of her home made jams to bring back with us, a lovely ending to a really smashing weekend.

Our second stay, beautiful location and a lovely host

Sue, the owner, couldn't have made our visit any better. She gave us tips on where to eat, and places locally of interest.
Our room was comfortable, breakfasts well cooked and with home made jams, overlooking the beautiful garden, which we made use of in the late afternoons.
On leaving, Sue presented us with a bag of her home grown tomatoes.

Quirky and friendly

I stayed at the Hillcrest Guest House for 2 nights when visiting family in Warwick.  There was a wonderful warm welcome on arrival and when I arrived back each day.  (I accidentally found myself talking about 'going home' to Hillcrest after one day out!). The building is about 300 years old and has all the quaint features to match.  It is spotlessly clean and has all the little extras that you need - tea, coffee,biscuits in the room, hairdryer - to make your stay comfortable.  I slept in a family room with single and double bed and, despite it being two of the hottest days of the year, slept like a log both nights. I chose poached eggs on toast for breakfast with home-grown tomatoes which were delicious, followed by Sue's own home-made jam.  Superb.  There were also a variety of breakfast cereals and fruit if you could manage the extra..  The B and B has a beautiful old cottage garden with stunning views to go with the building - beautifully kept and you are welcome to sit outside and watch the swallows and butterflies.  At the front of the B and B is the main road - very handy for nearby Warwick and Stratford.  It is busy with traffic but the windows have very efficient double glazing which makes you forget it's there.  Finally, parking was easy which was a relief.  I will definitely be back here on my next visit.  Highly recommended.

Quintessential old English with the warmest of welcomes

My husband & I stayed at the Hillcrest guest house the day before we went to warwick castle as the drive up & back home from kent would have been tiring. 
we had to phone up the guest house for directions when we got closer. 
1st impressions were that it was a bit out of the way but the couple who run it were very kind & helpful. 
Our room at the front of the house was really quaint, well decorated & surprisingly quiet.
Breakfast was very nice, the view was lovely (looking out the bathroom window) & the garden was very nice too & well kept. 
All in all we had a very pleasant stay at the Hillcrest guest house.

Had a lovely stay in this lovely little B & B, lovely hosts and a good cooked breakfast with homemade jams.  Lovely breakfast room overlooking the garden.  Bit hard to find if it is dark as there are no lit signs so very easily missed.  Be out of your room on time though, we were still in ours at 2 minutes to 10 (I was on a call) and there was a call up the stairs 'vacate your room', no dallying here!
