A silent alarm went off and we were woken up at 3am a member of staff came into our room without letting us get dressed and kicked us out, we hadn’t been smoking so couldn’t understand why the alarm went off, as we left we asked for her details and was laughing at us being very rude and arrogant, which will be seen on the cctv footage in reception, I want my money back and I will be making an official complaint and taking it further, if possible could someone please contact me, thanks

Rude and disrespectful staff

Travelling with my dog. Close to The Common, ideal for walkies, Westquay shops and eating places. Clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. Easy parking at the hotel. Stayed one night. Would stay again

Easy, no nonsense stay!

Not much chance to sleep….. in average woken almost once an hour thru the night as the corridor doors slammed shut behind guests…. Complained to receptionist but was told thd matter could not be resolved before I left resulting in a 2nd sleepless night

Doors banging all night

My stay at Travelodge was exemplary, excellent, noise free, clean and above all the staff were courteous and professional. I would recommend staying here to anyone visiting Southampton for the first time. The prices per room are very competitive compared to most hotels in the area and I had a comfortable stay and a good nights sleep.

My stay at Travelodge(Lodge Road, Southampton)

Got to admit was surprised when booking in that there was no onsite bar or restaurant (office booked room for me). The lady on the reception desk very helpful as the lift was out of action & my room was on the 6th floor.
The bath water was Luke warm but that might have been due to the time of day I had my bath 5 to 6pm as other people were also booking in at the same time and the demand on the water may have been excessive for the system. 
The room looks a bit dated but then it’s ok for resting your head after a hard day on the building site/work.

basic but clean & the staff were very helpful

There are 2 Travelodges in Southampton.  Travelodge Central and Travelodge, Lodge Road.  We stayed in both before and after our holiday, not realising (when originally booking) that there were two in different locations.   Big mistake.  The one in Lodge Road was very shabby and unloved, although it was fairly clean.  Don't make the mistake I made and stay at the Southampton Central one if you can.

Paid 80£ for a single room, would least expect a double bed.. didn’t get that.. and to top it off I was out right next to the lift all night which was constantly going off… checked your room today for 3 weeks time on a Wednesday and it’s 45£… charge more because Grimsby town was playing … shocking service … never staying in a travelodge again. Family room with a double bed and 2 single rooms was 92£ 12£ more… could have stayed with my friends and saved myself 80£…

Travelodge are awful

i wouldn’t even give it a star they broke my fiancé xbox kicked us out and put our clothes with rubbish from food and they ruined my clothes they didn’t even let us sort it out and they didn’t care that my partner and i are homeless and i’m pregnant 

The worst customer service

Awful noise from people until 7am all night. Went to complain to reception during the evening and in the morning and there was no one to be found on reception. Shower was awful. Just a light dribble. Bed uncomfortable and no one came in to change our sheets in our two night stay. 

Stay away

A well-trained staffs who delivered an excellent customer service to me during my stay in the hotel. The bedroom and the bathroom are very clean with nice double bed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, anytime, any day for lodging.
