We were fitted in on a table for six without a booking last night.
We were greeted by a very friendly team member who showed us to our table.

Once seated our drinks order was taken, questions about the menu were answered in a very friendly and professional way. Very knowledgeable. We had arrived at the same time as another party of six and when we ordered we were told that the food may take some time as everything is cooked from scratch to order. 
When the food arrived it was absolutely worth the wait. Everything was delicious and well cooked with plentiful portions. 
Great atmosphere, great food we will be returning. Thank you

Excellent last minute decision

Booked a table for Sunday lunch and we were welcomed & seated without delay. Place is newly renovated and has a comfortable relaxing interior. Drinks & food order was taken without delay. Our meal was very pleasant, nice beef and beautifully cooked vegetables. Although not overly busy it was at this point, as our plates were cleared, that service slowed down to a point where the table next to us left without ordering. We were not in a rush at all but took 30 minutes to order  & receive dessert & coffee. To be fair, there did seem to be only one person serving at this point, and it is a fairly new business still finding its feet. Food was lovely & we will visit again, you just have to be patient! 

Sunday Lunch

We booked for a table of 3 upon arrival we were made extremely welcome shown to our table first drinks were taken and our order in great time. 

The food was amazing well worth the visit will definitely will be going again by far one of the best restaurants in Shrewsbury town.

I recommend a visit 100%

Booked a table for lunch yesterday but on arrival was informed they had run out of potatoes, thereby decimating the menu
We left and dined instead at one of the many other restaurants located within spitting distance
Run out of potatoes? If this was really the case then why not borrow some off one of the other two restaurants in Shrewsbury owned by the same family? Or pop across the road to the award winning produce market hall?
This establishment doesn’t deserve patronage

Hard to believe

We visited this newly opened family restaurant for lunch during the week after reading about it locally.  We thought the service was excellent and the newly decorated interior was really relaxing with a Mediterranean feel. I had the chicken dish which was just wonderful - so tasty and I would definitely have it again.  Well done, good luck and we will be visiting again.

Really positive experience at this newly opened restaurant

& quite lively outside. They have live music & a DJ.  We sat inside & just had a coupla beers, not my usual San Miguel but we have what we can get in these times & are grateful.  The staff were all good & aimed to please. 

An interesting place ...

Come in with a few of my friends for a pint or two, lovely lad called Jordan served us. Would come again with service like Jordan’s, there was another girl who was rude was wearing a beanie, please don’t talk to your staff like rubbish in front of customers

Good drinks

Popped in here on a wet Saturday 6.30pm. Amongst other drinks we ordered the 
Barmaid prepared a double vodka soda from a young blonde girl with specs. I saw the measure about 15% short from the rim as the bottle was empty. She gave it a shake but still I reckon 40 - 60 pence short. After I mentioned it she said" if you don't like it dink somewhere else".
So we did.

Have often eaten here at lunchtime but today it was the pits dirty tired and in need of a spruce up what ever they use to spray tables transferred to food had beef and onion hot sandwich beef fatty and over cooked had to wait for them to dash out for bread they then served our meal to someone else who started to pick it up they apologised for that and explained they were going to change the bread but on my sandwich could only taste cleaning product presentation also ver poor

Yuck

No need to exchange this little hotel for something more Premier. Having come in from the cold I wasn't overly excited to walk into no hotel foyer and into a packed bar,where discussion with a young barman was impossible down to universal travellers accommodation sign language of shouting surname and said barman thrusting card machine under our noses. However, bright young lady showed us a near by door that would be approved by NASA for sound blocking. Up the wooden Hill to small but fairly impeccable room with roomy super clean bathroom. Hot shower water instantaneous & in a steady stream not as in many hotel rooms dwindling to a cold leak a squirrel  might be proud of. My room although the smaller of the two was warm with actual working radiators & kitchen. To my great excitement the tea coffee tray was a delight holding British teabags, pots of real milk & not one but several packets of real biscuits with dare I say grown up cups. Easy to use television. Well done whoever put the thought behind these comfortable & clean rooms,definitely stay here again. Happy Landings!
