Stayed here for 2 nights. I can’t praise this place enough it is a truly lovely B&B without a doubt it is the best one I’ve ever stayed in. Jeremy and Helen work very hard to make your stay perfect. The room was extremely clean, comfortable and modern with an amazing view of the river and countryside. Breakfast is outstanding, so much to choose from and the quality of the food and Helen’s cooking is first class. The hosts have thought of everything and you will want for nothing here, there is a small fridge in the room, iron and small ironing board, bottle opener and even a small torch, there is a huge selection of teas, coffees etc not to mention Helen’s lovely homemade complimentary cakes. I have nothing negative to say about Belvedere House because I can’t fault any aspect of it I would 100% recommend it and I’m definitely coming back!

Absolutely wonderful place. Lovely modern, clean, well equipped room. Delicious homemade  cake and biscuits on arrival. Spacious ensuite with excellent shower, very comfy bed and sheets. Beautiful view and absolutely superb breakfasts. Access to rooms during the day and the hosts are very accommodating. 

One of the best B&Bs I've stayed in. Large comfortable room with great views of the Wye Valley. Lovely home-made and locally sourced breakfast. Helpful and friendly hosts. Ideal location for our family wedding trip.

A superb B & B. Delightful location, wonderful breakfasts; and cakes/biscuits as an unexpected offering. 100% clean and luxurious, comfortable bed. We thoroughly recommend Belvedere House and hope to return to explore the area further.

We have just spent 3 days here.  Jeremy and Helen are incredibly thoughtful hosts and made sure we had the loveliest stay.  From home made biscuits and cakes on arrival through to the most amazing breakfast with wonderful local produce and meticulous presentation ! Add a breathtaking view of the Wye valley from your bedroom and a super comfortable bed and there you have it,  a perfect place.   We look forward to returning when we can !

The excellent reviews led me to book this property for a few days touring the beautiful Wye Valley, and it did not disappoint because what the previous reviewers said was all true: the immaculate cleanliness, the great views (complete with a wide range of birds feeding outside), the delicious food (much of it homemade by Helen - bread, cakes, jams, etc.), the generous hospitality and friendliness of the hosts, and their attention to detail. Even the tissues and loo paper were soft! A good bed, a nice conservatory to sit in should you choose - what more could one ask?
As said before on here, you do need a car, and the parking is a bit tight at the property, but Jeremy could not be more helpful and a stay at Belvedere is worth every penny.

Our room was clean, comfortable and well equipped - including a range of teas, coffees and delicious cookies, which were a welcome treat upon our arrival.  The view from our room, overlooking the River Wye was breathtaking,  Jeremy and Helen were great hosts - and we could not fault their hospitality. The range and quality of food at breakfast was faultless - including fresh fruit salads, juices, cereals and toasts (with a range of homemade marmelades). Those choices were in addition to a beauitfully cooked full english breakfast!!  (plus llighter choices such as avocado on sourdough with salmon and poached eggs - delicious!).  We will definitely be returning - and, in addition to enjoying the River Wye and the Forest of Dean, it is not too far to venture into Wales !!!   Overall, we had a great time!

This was our 2nd stay at Belvedere and it did not disappoint. The location is great with beautiful views. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are amazing- so much choice. The homemade cakes were delicious. Highly recommended.

Lovely place, clean, good views and central to the area. Amazing breakfasts  witha great choice and the hotsts are lovely people. You do need a car to get around the area as there are few facitites locally.

What can we say, it's been a delight and such a pleasure to have stayed here, Helen and Jeremy have been outstanding hosts making sure everything was ok for us and that we had everything we needed. The homemade cakes in our room were amazing even the gluten free options tasted divine. Breakfast had plenty of options  even down to the gluten free options as well, also they had a separate gluten free toaster spot one 👌🏻.

The rooms are clean and tidy and have a good selection of teas and coffees as well as the homemade cakes ☺️😜 wasn't any trouble in topping up for more if you needed it, the view from our room was gorgeous looking over the valley and then the beautiful sunset at night couldn't of asked for more really.

I wouldn't hesitate in coming here again as it's been faultless in my opinion and would happily come back over and over again, thank you Jeremy and Helen for a brilliant stay.
