As a family we love the Isle Of Wight, I found this site last year, I originally booked the lowesr grade of caravan for £140 Feb half term, we were given an upgrade to an Indulgent Chalet/ Cottage. Oh have been spoilt it was the best accommodation we have ever stayed in, first thing we noticed we had our own back garden how good is that for the kids 😀, once inside wow good sized bedrooms lots of room in both, bathroom was lovely & bright again lots of room, our open plan living room kitchen was amazing absolutely stunning, all decorated up to date, we even had a dishwasher & washing machine which meant we didn't have to take loads of washing home, happy me we did a bit daily to keep it down. There was a bag of goodies for us too including Prosecco, apple juice, coffee, tea, biscuits & 2 pints of milk in the fridge I will be using my special Away Resorts bag all the time, there was also a washing up set, remember to plant your pencil when you get home and see what plant you get, we also had a small selection of washing products, did I mention we had a patio area with table & chairs lovely in hotter weather.
The site itself is beautiful, there wasn't any entertainment but that's OK as we were off site every day I think there may be some in season, the restaurant wasn't open when we stayed again not a problem plenty of places to eat on the island, there is an arcade, a park area, lake activities in season, we enjoyed walking round the site taking in the beautiful views.
We are looking at coming here again in season

Beautiful site 

Currently staying in a lakeside lodge which is lovely, this is our 3rd visit ,we liked it so much last summer with our dogs we booked 2weeks this time, however we are very disappointed that the restaurant and pool are closed,also the bar closes at 8pm, we had no prior warning  and am not sure that we would have come if we had known this in advance, surely a reduction in services/amenities equals a reduction in the cost, this wasn’t cheap and after travelling for 5hrs to get here was extremely disappointed that we had to then find somewhere else to eat.

Dissatisfied

We had Two Caravans and had no complaints with them ,(BOTH heated),, we were only there three days  we got a bus twice  (No 3 stops outside ) we went to Sandown, Shanklin Ventnor  and Newport  from outside bus stop ,,,
Pool entry was very restricted We were a bit confused with the Pool App booking system . never seemed to work to book a session 
Bar pricing meant we went out to Eat ,,,,  Still not sure if we got a good deal on the Red Funnel ... 
Also Viisited (NOT on Bus this time) Osbourne House, Carisbrook Castle and the Needles   .. Really enjoyed out few days  ..

Beautiful site only small but quiet and clean modern spacious river side lodge. Accommodation has all amenities that we needed we also had a lovely welcome pack everyone we met was very friendly and welcoming  we will definitely revisit again .Accommodation is close to all local attractions on the isle of white so very good for days out . We would definitely recommend:)

Amazing

To start check in was awful hour late having our keys.Loads of people complaining.That was my only complaint.The site is beautiful and well looked after.We stayed in a premium cotrage which was beautiful even down yo the mattress on the bed.My daughters had caravans and the beds were awful.Situated in a perfect lication to visit local beaches etc.They need to sort their bar/restaurant because you cant get a coffee or drink before 12 no breakfast menu.They need more staff to trying to get someone to get you a drink was a nightmare.

Warm and friendly staff great food in a lovely club house & great amenities. 
Very dog friendly and the staff love Roly.
I look forward to my family visiting the lakes and enjoying what the site has to  offer i.e kayaking,Archery & swimming 🏊‍♂️ 

Lovely resort

We stayed in a Lakehouse from 31st Dec-4th Jan as a New Years break. Due to booking a late ferry, we arrived after check in had closed however made the team aware and they were very helpful by sending a 'late arrivals' email with all the information that we needed. We were very impressed when we arrived as there was a lovely bag of goodies for us to enjoy, including a bottle of Prosecco! The Lakehouse was clean, cosy and well equipped. There were a few minor negatives such as the floor boards inside the entrance to the Lakehouse being rotten/broken, the sofa being very uncomfortable and the shower in the main bedroom flooding the entire bathroom after a shower. Overall, it was good value for money and despite it being off-season (and New Years Eve/Day!) the staff were friendly and we very much enjoyed our stay here. 

New Years Getaway

Stayed here from 30th Dec to 2nd Jan for a New Year break, had a cottage with a hot tub. Lovely park, lovely accommodation and hot tub was great!! The island itself was very quiet and we didn't use any of the parks facilities as we just wanted a relaxing couple of days, and this was exactly what we got. Couldn't fault the cottage and the staff we did encounter were lovely. The welcome package which included chocs and prosecco and the doggie goodie bag were a lovely touch. Will definitely be back in the summer. 

Lovely  break

We visited 27th Dec 2022 due to check out Jan 3rd - we checked out three days early as it was just dull. 

- Checked in 3pm, gone 8pm no travel cot as requested and paid for on check in. Called the ‘emergency number’ as guest services was closed - called over 10 times to no avail. 

- Lodge was okay, needs a lot of finishing touching and the plumbing needs working on as you cannot use the bathroom, shower or sinks whilst the washing machine is in use as the bathroom floods. 

- Arrived to two bags of rubbish left by either the cleaning team or previous holiday makers by the front door and all over the lawn due to foxes or the ducks. 

- Did not have parking outside the lodge like the rest of the park which isn’t ideal with a dog and infant in pissing rain and high winds. 

- Zero entertainment provided, ‘restaurant’ which literally is the bar was tables and chairs in front of it was only open 5-8pm everyday. No breakfast or lunch available, which was not stated when booking. Also other than pizza’s, takeaways are not available from the kitchen as they ‘do not have the appropriate takeaway boxes’ 

- No mini market on site which isn’t ideal. There is a co-op down the road. 

- No paths for you to walk on it’s all roads. 

- When arriving linen from the previous people was just thrown on the lawn/mud and this seems to be their protocol when changing all linen in between stays which is just odd. 

- One member of staff dropped linen next door and then sparked up a cannabis joint once he left which left a lovely aroma through our patio doors - which is great when you have a 5 month old. 

- The place is literally run by teenagers therefore the standards of cleaning and just general customer service and customer needs aren’t met. 

Will definitely not be staying here again - seems to be focused mainly on the ‘lake activities’ during the summer months. The winter months they seem to take bookings with no plans or needs to entertain or give you value for your money.

Absolutely Pointless in Winter

We had a brilliant weekend here. Our 3 bedroom island cottage with hot tub was perfect and a great size for 6 people. The site is gorgeous with a nice bar and restaurant. It is in a great location, with most places within a 20 minute drive. We have already booked to come back next year!
