Excellent location so handy for town, shops and supermarket. Property has seven en suite bedrooms with two in the courtyard so plenty of space for all our family. Every bedroom has a colour theme with decor and accessories to match and very tastefully done with lovely clean white fluffy towels and luxurious bedding. The games room went down well with the teenagers . Spotlessly clean and kitchen well equiped with everything provided. A lovely 4 night stay and look forward to a return visit.

A great find.

On our recent visit to Richmond we stayed at this seven bedroom house. It was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. There was a lovely welcome pack on arrival. The kitchen was very well equipped. Each bedroom was en-suite and the ground floor bedroom was suitable for less mobile guests. I would recommend this place to anyone 

Rosedale cottage

Fantastic house, spacious in all areas, spotlessly clean.  Lovely outdoor and general communal areas.  We booked directly via the owner for our 2nd stay in 12 months and the whole process was fantastic.  Nothing is too much trouble for Gordon.  Richmond village is lovely great pubs shops and eateries.  Would highly recommend Kerry Marie’s cocktail bar and Amontola Indian restaurant.

Rosedale house

This is a lovely gem of a house catering for 12 family members all bedrooms were en suite so suited everyone.Superb decor throughout whilst still capturing the history of the building,a lovely touch with the welcome basket full of goodies. Very friendly owner who was willing to be on hand via a phone call if needed. We had a fab time and we will definitely recommend this accommodation to others, the Christmas  lights in the town were beautiful and Richmond has some lovely gift shops, pubs and eateries well worth a short stroll from Rosedale.

Historic houses full of charm

Wow what a great place, we booked the whole place for a long weekend for a family celebration and it didn't disappoint. All the rooms are very spacious,clean and well equipped. Hat off to the owners they really have thought of everything. There are TV's in almost every room and a great movie room on the top floor with PS4 and Wii to keep everyone entertained. Highly recommended 👍🏼

Rosedale guest house

This house is now rented out on a self catering basis. It is a lovely house in a convenient location in Richmond. 
We used it for a week long birthday celebration with various friends and family all joining us for a few days. All rooms were well furnished with good quality bedding and all en suite. Very well equipped kitchen and a lovely welcome pack was also a delightful touch.
The owner Gordon was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble, in terms of advice and assistance. His advice about parking was spot on and it really wasn’t a problem. I also liked the fact that whilst 2 dogs were welcome, they were restricted to certain parts of the house. 
We were lucky to have great weather for most of the week so spent a lot of time in the evening in the  courtyard. It was a sun trap at our peak of 14 people, we were glad to have asked guests to bring extra folding chairs. 
Whilst we didn’t use it, a spacious games room on the top floor would be great for groups of different ages. 
Would highly recommend this lovely house. It worked perfectly for us.

Perfect house to rent for special occasion

Rosedale is now rented out as a holiday home and we were lucky enough to be the first family staying, all 12 of us plus two small dogs loved the house! We thought the house was lovely and very comfortable. All rooms have en suite facilities which is a treat in such a large house. Finished to a high standard and pretty much everything we needed for our weekend stay. Close to Richmond town centre and its attractions, restaurants and pubs all within walking distance. Supermarket just a couple of minutes walk away. Would highly recommend!

Family weekend

We loved it here gordon is such a lovely lad very attentive stayed in he couryard room which was lovely home from home  would of loved to try the breakfast but the dining room was getting done ive been told it is great cant wait tonreturn

Few days break

W entered through the main door and were taken through the B&B dining area to a delightful courtyard. Our room was up a few stairs over looking a small, private courtyard. this accommodation also has its own 'private' and quaint exit/entrance, located to the left of our balcony. A quiet and restful place, only minutes from the market square. Very peaceful in deed.


Unique, private quarters! 

Stayed in Amethyst room - spotlessly clean, bed incredibly comfy - just right for anyone visiting the historic town of Richmond as only two minutes walk from the centre, yet nice and quiet at night.
Gordon and Laura are very warm and friendly hosts and the breakfast is to die for.
Absolutely faultless.
