Second stay at Mandalay definitely should be a hotel enjoyed every minute of our stay!!! Frank and Gail are very welcoming and a bonus franks humour is something else … breakfast was outstanding with a great menu ☺️looking forward to our next stay

Best b&b

As far as b&b's go you won't get better! Our room was spacious and immaculate. It had everything in it you could ever need including our own fridge  The breakfast choices are very varied and more choice available than I've seen in any hotel. Frank and Gail are lovely people and made us very welcome. I can't recommend this place highly enough, definitely the perfect place to stay in Portrush. 

Very highly rate this place best place to stay, hotel standards. 

The property was very bright and clean, very handy location, 5 minute walk to the centre of Portrush and the train station. The staff were very attentive, with friendly personalities. My room had a wonderful sea view.
Disliked  · I can’t think of anything adverse about the property or my stay there, throughly enjoyable!

It was my first stay there, it was very impressive and I would highly recommend this B&B.

If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Portrush, then this should be your choice. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated with everything you could need. Everywhere was spotless and it was only a short walk to the beach and the town centre. The hosts ate incredibly friendly and helpful! Breakfast was excellent - especially the porridge with whiskey, a must try! Frank even played Bruce Springsteen at breakfast - making it the absolute perfect stay. Don’t miss this place! 

Wonderful stay! 

just returned from a 4 week travel... have to say Frank and co was a great stay... he and i can banter on and he gives the service i would... makes it fun... oh and the room and breakfast are 5 star... more fun 

one night in Bangkok .... oh I mean Mandalay

We spent two nights at The Mandalay and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was extremely clean and well equipped. The breakfasts were superb and the host Frank was welcoming and charismatic with lots of helpful information about the local area.

Superb in every way!

The room was lovely with spacious ensuite bathroom - chairs and fridge available as well as tea/cofe making facilities. Bed ready comfy. Everything was spotless and the hosts Frank and Gail were so friendly yet professional. The establishment is really close to town centre and restaurants 
Gail's cooked breakfast was amazing and there was a great selection of fruit, breads, cereals and drinks.
Would highly recommend this B&B - great value for money. 

Great stay at the Mandalay

3rd visit to this b&b and cannot fault it at all.  Lovely clean modern rooms with very comfy bed, yummy breakfast and friendly host.  A short walk to the centre of Portrush for restaurants, bars and shops which is a good reason to stay for us.  Will return again without hesitation.  

Exactly what a b&b should be 

Such a fabulous B and B. Spotless and a very warm welcome. Frank could not be more helpful and we were able to keep our bikes there one visit. Gail always makes the best fry for a great start to the day. Highly recommend. 

Friendly and High standards 

This B&B was a great find in what is a fairly ordinary seaside town. Set on the main road (which was quiet at night), it's 10 minutes walk from the beating metropolis, but out of the way of the noisy bars. We had a good size very clean and comfortable room at the top of the building - great king-size bed; 2 good chairs (a rarity); tea & coffee & more; strong WiFi; etc. Free parking on the street outside. The breakfast was really something with lots of choice and specials clearly made with loving care. My porridge came with a tot of Drambuie (shame it was 8am and I was driving!), whilst the good ladies pancakes were piled high with lots of fresh berries of every description (come to think of it, I had the same!). The host was a great character who was chatty, friendly and helpful with a cheeky tale or two to bring a bright start to the day.
Highly recommended!
