On our arrival we had a warm welcome from Danny who opened up the off road private parking area for us. Unlike other reviews, there was no problem parking here and although a small area, there is still plenty of space to manoeuvre the car and get parked. 
The accommodation itself was very good, with private bathroom, tea/coffee facilities and even had a fridge. 
We were here for a 3 night stay and room and bathroom was cleaned daily. Even the extra touches such as a fresh bottle of water left each day gave it a warm friendly feeling. 
It is clear Danny works all hours and was always up bright and early to greet and present us a lovely cooked breakfast.  
A job well done, one of the friendliest places I have stayed.

Made our holiday even better...

Couldn’t have had a nicer stay, myself and my partner both enjoyed every moment and the stay was made exceptional by Danny, the owner. He couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. He had great local knowledge of the area and its history and was always around to ask if you were happy and to make sure you were enjoying your stay at Meneglaze. 

Previous reviews don’t seem believable, Danny was never aggressive or confrontational and was only ever happy, friendly and approachable, from our experience this past weekend. 

Myself and my partner are both early 30’s and unless you are rude or can’t  allow  5 minutes to listen to Danny’s stories (which might I add were very interesting and funny), then he is nothing but a nice guy.  

He openly said that he is soon to be closing the business to go back to his passion of artistry, but never for one moment did he seem like he’d given up or had shown any less passion for the business or for his paying guests!! (As previous reviews had stated) 

The accommodation was great and I don’t know what more could be expected. I would definitely recommend and would have no qualms about saying the owner and the accommodation was not to be faulted.

Don’t believe all the negative reviews below!! If you want a great stay and great host, this is your place!

I spent two nights in a very comfortable, clean room which had everything you might need.  The owner Danny made me feel very welcome and was full of helpful local information.  The full Cornish breakfast was so well cooked and set me up for the day. The B&B is very well located,  not far from the rail station and a nice pub, and just a short walk into the centre of lovely Looe.  I would definitely recommend this B&B and intend to make a return visit soon.

A great well located Bed & Breakfast

We stayed at this very reasonable bed and breakfast. Danny the owner was a perfect host, attentive and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable with added touches a fridge, fresh fruit and sweets. Ideally situated, a few minutes walk and you are in the centre of Looe.

Delightful Bed and Breakfast

I spent three nights here in a lovely clean room at the top of the house. There were some nice welcoming touches such as chocolates and fruit in the room, and a fridge which was unexpected. A lovely breakfast every day, and nothing was too much trouble for Danny. The guest house is very central and has parking included (unusual in Looe). It's excellent value for money compared with other B&Bs in Looe. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely guest house with excellent host

Danny makes you feel very welcome. The rooms are a nice size, and a very comfy sleep. Lovely breakie with choice. Cornwall sourced so love that fact.
The icing on the cake is parking is available and it's short walk into town and 2 minutes from the station.

Great location to town

My partner Mark and I stayed here for 2 nights, during a week in October, for a treat for my birthday. Danny, the owner, is a larger than life guy! Our double room was spacey and comfortable with a well stocked tea tray, small fridge with bottled water, a small table and 2 chairs in the bay window and a very comfy bed. Breakfast was lovely and this B&B has on-site parking. Danny got a bottle of red wine for use to celebrate my birthday, which was really lovely of him to do. We look forward to visiting again. 

Quaint B&B

Spent a week at meneglaze B and B was met on arrival by Danny the owner .Danny was always on hand for anything We needed or to give us recommendations on restaurants or places to visit . The room was clean with little treats to enjoy with a tea or coffee and breakfast was great all rules were put in place regarding Covid 19 and adhered too.
All in all we enjoyed the week spent here and would recommend it to our friends should they decide to take a trip to Looe

Looe vacation

Great breakfast, good size room, comfy beds and fantastic location. On site parking was a plus too! Danny was very welcoming and attentive, and very knowledgeable about the local area :) would stay again!

Great stay!

Very good place to stay 2 mins walk and train station right in front of you, bus stop at end of road pub on other side which does nice food in (the globe) bout 10 mins walk passing the petroleum station a road full of shops co op ,wired fish,  gift shop ,banks and of course plenty of pasty shops 😀 good food in the arch  and the harbour moon and even the kebab shop. Plenty of beach for every one ice cream, coffee shops ,beer garden right on the front. Plenty places to walk, which I’m sure Danny will tell you if you stay in the meneglaze b n b in looe breakfast is good nothing too much bother  water in room every day and little treats ,always clean if you been out for the day and the shower was nice after a long day thanks Danny for a great week 👍
