Not the newest of hotels but definitely one of the friendliest I’ve been to for a while. Jimmy the receptionist was super friendly and helpful so I could unload my car, store my bags and get the car parked. Info on parking options was really detailed to make life simple rather than getting lost on one way systems endlessly round the city. Jimmy also sought me out to provide a discount card for the parking. When people go the extra mile it makes a big difference.

A brilliant Scouse welcome!

My Grandaughter really wanted to do the Beatles experience in Liverpool, and we only had a short weekend, so staying in this Travel Lodge was very convenient for train station and for all other places we wanted to visit and see.

Beatles

Stayed here for work and have to say that the hotel is very run down and dated compared to other hotels. There was alot of brown limescale at  the bottom of the kettle so I didn't use it, the desk had holes in it showing the chipboard underneath, and the chair had alot of dirt around the edge of the cushion. There was dust around the edges of the bed, the bathroom bin was broken so the peddle didn't work so I had to bend down to open the bin and I couldn't get the hot water or shower pressure to work I'm better off staying in a hostel next time.

Horrible stay

Usual good travelodge experience Ann doesn't walk too well at times everything you need is 10 mins walk away restaurants  club pubs there is a small bus terminus across the road from this hotel which serves the wider area if needed 

Liverpool central travelodge

We have stayed here before and choose it again for its location to the trains station. Basic lodge with simple breakfast but plenty of cafes about. Car parking at QPark £15 a day with a discount for Travel lodge guests. We will stay again.

cheap and cheerful central stay

Reception staff was very friendly and chatty think his name was Jimmy hotel was nice and clean bedroom was clean and comfortable towels was missing but staff were prompt to bring them to the room and apologised would stay again

Got what we paid for. Came midweek for a birthday getaway at £30. Rooms are clean but could do with a make over, but at £30 wasn't expecting much more. Jemma and Dylan on check in very friendly and was a great welcoming presence. Only one negative would be plugs closer to the bed, as having to leave my phone other side of room was a minor issue.

Budget hotel with great staff

Overall very good but excellent customer service. Location is easy access and the parking provided was secured. Little bit of noise coming from outside but area is in central therefore its expected. We will definitely come back.

Hotel location and stay

I would stay at the Travelodge again, great value and not far from most things in the city. Booking, check in and out very easy. Room was nice and clean, mattress and bedding was of good quality and lovely and clean. Not a fan of the water saving taps thou.

Value for money


The staff (especially Mike and Dave!) were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. There are also takeaways and shops within walking distance. The room was lovely, tidy and clean. The hotel was also nice and quiet. Definitely recommend!
