Gill was amazing , a lovely lady. Everything was spotless and we had everything in our room to make it a great stay ensuring covid safety measures. Very cath kidston / boutique which we loved. No signal anywhere but Gill offered usage if the phone if we needed it. Recommendations for restaurants to have evening meal were great. Breakfast allocated time due to social distancing and the breakfast itself was lovely. In our room we could hear the sound of the river which was so lovely. ”

Lovely boutique B&B with beautiful surroundings

Gill our host was so welcoming and caring and did everything in her power to make us comfortable. Not only did we have a lovely en suite room but also a small lounge attached. Tea and coffee were available with scrumptious ginger biscuits. The garden backed on to the river right next to a small bridge. Just idyllic. Well done Gill I hope we meet again. Breakfast room and food fantastic. If you do not visit this establishment you should be sorry!,,,

A delightful find.

A wonderful typical old cottage full of warm atmosphere, cozy beautifully decorated, a heavenly garden,idyllically situated, great breakfast and a charming warmhearted hostess. It was an amazing wonderful birthday gift to stay there.

Fantastic stay

I would just re-iterate what others have said. Beautiful setting, lovely, huge room/ suite, Excellent breakfast , warm friendly host who let us store our bikes out back and absolutely spotless...and I mean spotless, could't find a speck of dust anywhere (and we both jokingly tried). We slept like logs and count ourselves lucky to have found the place! 
Would definitely stay again.

Had a wonderful stay

Berrio Bridge guest house has lovely gardens and there are brown trout in the river! 

It really is in the midst of stunning countryside, but you’re within hitting distance from both north and south shoreline villages.

The cleanest, friendliest, biggest roomed B&B we’ve stayed in. Has a small lounge in the suite, with a fridge, a large bathroom and dressing room alongside a huge bedroom. Cotton sheets gave it a freshly made bed feel every night.

Gill the owner is a sweety, we had great recommendations of where to go and not to go (she was right!) and even some very deep political discussions over our breakfasts. 

The breakfast is stunning, seems all locally sourced, with the most golden egg yolks you’ve ever seen, and poached to perfection. Dry cure bacon and local sausages made it special.
You could have homemade compote, yogurt and fresh berries, cereals, orange juice always on the table. Gill even accommodated my big fingers by ‘swopping out’ the fine bone China tea cup for a mug. Her jam and marmalade was home made and lovely.

There are some very nice pub/restaurants close by that serve food to a very very high standard.

And a river ran through it

Really great to go back to the Berrio Bridge B&B, Gill is the perfect host and gave us the same room as our previous visit even though it was a while ago (too long). Everything is perfect and whilst being really attentive, Gill makes you feel completely at home and you can come and go as you please. The food is fantastic and always fresh and local, we can't wait until we come back again - Ray and Angela
