5-Stars! Lairds Lodge is situated in the heart of Inverness City, offering the perfect location to walk along the riverside into the city or jump in the car and explore the great outdoors.

The accommodation suited us very well as two families, both with young adults and children providing ample space for each group to speedster themselves yet still have good space to entertain. 

Lairds Lodge is an old building and as such bares the hallmarks of one, with original windows, creaky floors in places and oversized rooms with high ceilings which all add to the charm.

Mixed with the original features is technology that enables all age groups to stay connected. Fast Wi-Fi (circa 50 down 15 up) which was more than enough for Xbox gaming, Netflix streaming and zoom calls - large smart TV’s in the main rooms was great as the children could separate themselves and watch what they wanted.

Pizza takeaway, fish and chips plus the local ScotMid shop right behind the house so when you ran out of wine, crisps or fancied a takeaway, it was all right on the doorstep.

James was great! Very approachable and was at hand to offer assistance when needed. 

Lairds lodge is simply the place to stay if there is a group of you basing yourself out of Inverness.

The perfect base in Inverness for a large Group

No longer a B&B but a lodge for hire for larger Groups. We stayed as a Group of 13 (incl 3 kids) and found the house to be excellent - well furnished, with nice touches like kids toys available and homemade fudge left for us. We loved the bar out in the garden, and took advantage of the barbecue too. Communication with James the owner was quick and easy - we had a problem with the heating at one point and he resolved very quickly for us. Great location near town and Wynn Park. Would 100% recommend.

Brilliant house for a family holiday

This Lodge is the perfectly situated,it is close to the river, restaurants and bars. The accommodation itself is outstanding. All areas and bedrooms are of a very high standard. Ourselves and our friends had a superb time and we will definately book again in the future

Beautiful Lairds Lodge

Beautiful accommodation, with friendly, helpful staff and delicious breakfast choices.  A short walk to the Eden Court Theatre made this ideal for me.

Beautiful and well situated.

My partner and I had an absolutely lovely stay! The room was cosy, clean, and nicely decorated and the breakfast was fantastic. The location was perfect, within easy walking distance to pubs and restaurants. We’d definitely stay here again next time we’re in Inverness.

Fantastic experience

We had an amazing stay at the Glasdair Guesthouse. James was excellent! He answered all of our questions and had great suggestions for our stay in Inverness. Location was perfect for us, a short walk to all the places you might want to visit while in town. Room was very cozy and comfortable. Daily breakfast was very good, as well as the fantastic treats that were out in the afternoon. Definitely will plan to stay here again when we return to Inverness!

Fantastic stay!

It was amazing.  Centrally located to the main attractions, restaurants and shopping.  James was very nice and a great cook.

Lovely home with many personal touches. Free parking. Short walk to many great restaurants and city center. Delicious cooked to order breakfast plus homemade fudge, brownies,  and cakes in the afternoon. Warm welcome by James, an attentive and helpful host. Perfect stay.

Wonderful,  Great Location

This gorgeous home with free parking is a 10 minute walk to wonderful upscale restaurants (Try River House for delicious seafood). The decor was tasteful and there were nice surprises (homemade fudge and jams, yummy homemade lemon and chocolate cakes in the afternoon). Breakfasts were over the top wonderful and cooked to order. Host James was absolutely charming and full of interesting stories and helpful tips. Stayed two nights. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Exceptional!

Very good Guest house. Beautiful room with a kingsize bed. Also the bathroom looked very nice. Breakfast was excellent and the laird gave us everyday hints and descriptions for beautiful trips. We stayed 4 nights and it was e very pleasant stay.
