We stayed for three nights in early-to-mid-October to explore the Dales, and Ebor House in the village of Hawes was just perfect for us. Street parking was easy. Our room was very comfortable, with seating, plenty of storage space, and a bit of a view, inclusive of sheep in the distance. In terms of location, Ebor House is on the edge of the village, but it is an easy walk to several pubs/restaurants/cafes. We also walked to the village of Hardraw and to Wensleydale Creamery. Aysgarth Falls and Castle Bolton were short drives away. The hosts, Angela and Alex, really made the stay special by doing whatever they could to make sure we enjoyed our time in the Dales. They were incredibly thoughtful and accommodating and we highly recommend Ebor House to anyone wishing to stay in Hawes.

Perfectly Lovely B&B and a Great Base for Exploring the Dales

We had a wonderful stay at Ebor House.  We were warmly welcomed by our hosts, Alex and Angela who also provided us with great advice for how best to spend our time in the dales.   We wanted to see as much of the countryside as possible so we did some driving routes - when we return someday, we will be prepared to take some nice walks.  The room was very comfortable, the cooked breakfasts were delicious and the location was perfect for a short stroll into the village of Hawes.

Great Bed and Breakfast in Hawes

We have just had four excellent days staying at Ebor House. Angela and Alex are superb hosts and made us feel very welcome. The house is spotlessly clean and the bedrooms are modern and very comfy. The breakfast was perfect with everything you need to set you up for the day. It's a pleasant short walk into the town.  Parking outside the front.
We would definitely go back.
It was perfect.

Short break

We just had the opportunity to stay in Hawes, in the Dales, and wanted to share our thoughts on this lovely B&B.
Staying at Ebor House was a lovely experience. The hosts, Angela and Alex, are the loveliest couple and took such good care of us, from a really delicious breakfast, to helping us find beautiful walks around the Dales.  The rooms are pristine and charming. It is in a quiet area of Hawes but still only just a couple of minutes from the center of the village. Truly one of the best that we have stayed in.
We are forever grateful for the time that we had at Ebor house, and so wish we lived closer so that we could go every month :)

So Lovely

Lovely bed and breakfast, we had a very warm welcome from Angela and Alex, and also got to meet their gorgeous dog as we were leaving. Our room was spacious, and spotless with beautiful decor. Such comfy beds we slept so well!  Breakfast was delicious and we felt well looked after. There was ample room to park in the street with no restrictions. The property is only a few mins walk into the centre of Hawes. Lots of places to visit, would highly recommend The White Hart inn for food and Hardraw Force waterfall. We will return for another visit.

Lovely relaxing stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Ebor House . Janie & Stuart are very conscientious hosts & we will return to their friendly & comfortable guest house. Breakfast was delicious. Thank you both , we will recommend to our friends . 

Highly recommended 

We have just thoroughly enjoyed a 2 night stay with Stuart and Jennie. Ebor House is a 5 minute stroll from the delightful village centre. Our hosts were friendly and their home is spotless. 
Our breakfast was 2nd to none, nice and hot, and Stuarts art collection is great. We had a super comfy bed and the shower was hot and powerful. 10/10 😊

Perfect

Probably the best, most friendly bed and breakfast we've stayed at . Nice clean rooms ,excellent breakfast but what makes this place so special is the hosts , they are so friendly and helpful, and have great attention to detail , even down to providing gluten free biscuits to have with our tea/coffee in our room . They also provided a lovely G/Free cooked breakfast for me . Thank you for a great stay .

Best bed & breakfast 

We are returning guests to Ebor House , once again we had a wonderful stay, Janie and Stuart are great hosts,you are always made to feel very welcome,  we throughly enjoy our chats with them at breakfast, the breakfasts are always generous and delicious. The standards are first class, so lovely to return at the end of a day to your room which is cleaned daily. Thank you Janie and Stuart , Good luck for the future. 

Returning Guests 

 Stuart and Janie are great hosts. Very good breakfast menu and quality food cooked to perfection. The rooms are spotlessly clean with plenty of room and a good powerful shower.
We highly recommend and will be visiting again.
