What was good
The hotel is in a central location, but suffers from no parking nearby.
What was bad
The photographs online showed good clean rooms, indeed they may well be, but the information did not indicate that there was a noisy public bar on the ground floor with a karaoke / disco gearing up when we arrived. I had expected a family friendly stay, clearly this isn't.

What was good
The bar and restaurant of the Saracen's Head are nice, and the bar staff friendly and helpful
Good points, bed clean and comfortable and shower hot and good pressure
What was bad
The place is pretty well run down and shabby. , Bad points, pretty well everything else from the cracked bathroom tiles, the poor fitting windows that stop no sound at all and the tired faded decor were pretty depressing but what's worst is that when you roll in at midnight to get to
