We arrived early in the morning and rang the number on the door. Vince came to meet us within minutes. He let us park our car and showed us which room we had, even though it wasn't ready, and told us a time it would be (earlier than the original check in time).
We walked into the centre of Cambridge and came back later.

We were very pleased with the room as it was in the bungalow at the back and there was only us there. The room was spotless, spacious, equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, tv, iron and board, toiletries and towels.
We were informed that the boiler had packed up so there were two electric radiators in the room. These were more than adequate and the shower was also electric so not an issue.
Our night was comfortable and the area was quiet.
Breakfast was lovely. Cereals, fruit, toast and yogurts and a menu to choose a cooked breakfast. It was cooked to our liking and presented well. After we checked out, Vince let us leave our car in the carpark so that we could walk back into Cambridge centre again before going home. 

This place is in a great location within walking distance to pubs, take aways, supermarket and the city centre. We were very happy and would definately stay here again.

Home from home.

An easy shiort walk into the centre of Cambridge. Our room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was spacious, modern and equipped with toiletries and ample fluffy towels. There was a tray for hot drinks, water and biscuits. The breakfast is amazing. The hot meals are cooked fresh to order, the coffee is superb. Help yourself to cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, toast & muesli. We skipped lunch because the breakfast was so satisfying. This B & B has a very apt name, our only regret is that we were travelling and so only stayed one night. Would definitely return should we be in the area. Thank you.

Excellent B & B

Vincenzo and Viola were incredible hosts: they went the extra mile to make sure that our family had all we could possibly need. The breakfast was fantastic, everything fresh and cooked from scratch to perfection! 
Our suite was spacious and sparking clean, with hight quality mattresses, spa-style towels and products!
A small present welcomed us in the kitchenette (which was also fully equipped - although we ended up eating out as Viola has suggested some great restaurants at walking distance).
We will certainly return!
I wish more guesthouse owners were as committed to their customers happiness as Vincenzo!

Truly at home (away from home)!!

We recently spent 4 nights here.  Vince the owner gave us a warm welcome and loads of information about restaurants, pubs, getting around and things to do.  He and his colleague Viola looked after us very well throughout our stay.  Our lovely, spacious room was well away from the main road and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning, so substantial that we never needed lunch!  A bus stop is very close to the house.  From here you are a short bus ride to the centre of Cambridge; the same bus continues to the railway station, so convenient for travelling to other cities or to the airport.  A delightful stay!

Excellent B&B

A friendly place with breakfasts brilliantly cooked to order.  A short walk to the colleges and town center.  Very comfortable room with  good bathroom.  Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the company of Vince and Violetta.  

Friendliest B&B in Cambridge

Stayed overnight as racing at newmarket, the room had an amazing bath, pre ordered  breakfast and staff were excellent and would recommend as a place to stay    The only observation is the driveway is narrow.

Just enjoyed a night here. Lovely room with good attention to detail, lovely comfy bed with excellent quality bedding & towels, good beverage tray.
Excellent breakfast in annexe.
20 minute walk to the centre which was perfect for us. We had no problem parking, narrow, but easy enough.
All in all a very pleasant stay.

Lovely stay!

Very convenient B&B in Cambridge- walkable to the river, town and restaurants , it was perfect for our family to stay over. The place is clean and tidy and well presented and the staff are lovely and very helpful. Great breakfast too! I would definitely book this again!

Couple of days sightseeing in Cambridge

Cosy room although shower a bit small for a large person like me. Bed comfortable, water, tea, coffee and chocolate in the room. Good location a mile from the city centre so nice walk into the theatre, restaurant and sites. Staff very friendly and spoke multiple languages.  Good choice for breakfast and can be booked the night before or with a slight wait in the morning. Bit pricey but probably the norm for Cambridge. 

Cosy room good location and breakfast

We needed parking and the reviews were good so we booked it . The driveway in was a nightmare . The host ( Vince I think ) was a nice guy and when he saw how old we ( me) was he knew we had booked an attic room by mistake . He let us use the ground floor family room no extra charge . So I intended to give 5 stars . But the beds were horrible and the shower was an English horror . Breakfast was great . But bad beds and a bad shower are fatal flaws . The driveway did NOT help . 
I am torn between 2 and 3 stars .  I guess being a nice guy is worth a star . So 3 it is .
