Really comfortable and friendly stay. The owners go out of their way to make sure your stay is everything it needs to be.
Very knowledgeable about all the local attractions and restaurants.
The breakfast is first class and the menu very varied, every taste and option is catered for.
I cannot recommend this b&b enough. Walking distance to town and harbour, Brixham has everything a holiday or a break needs.

Great Brixham B&B

We came across Brookside by chance as we were looking to visit Brixham and thought we'd try a B&B rather than a hotel or AirBnB, and we are so glad that we did.

Linda and Joe were great hosts - welcoming (complete with tea and cake - always a winner!) and knowledgeable. The room was nicely furnished, and the bed was very comfy. The real highlight was breakfast! A wide selection and really good quality produce, breakfast felt like a real treat each morning.

We honestly couldn't recommend Brookside enough, and I'm sure we'll be going back.

Highly recommend this lovely B&B

Could not fault this guest house in anyway Joe and Linda were very welcoming.  Very clean and tidy excellent food.    Lots of information given to us on some of the history of Brixham and places where to go to eat.

We would love to stay here again, it's the best guest house we have stayed in.  Joe and Linda are lovely people.

Me & my husband always stay at Brookside with Linda & Jo: they are excellent hosts with plenty of local knowledge. The B&B is spotlessly clean with lovely soft furnishings etc. There is a small fridge in the rooms which is handy for beer & the small bottle of fresh milk provided. There is plenty of off road parking at the B&B. Breakfast is fab make your choice the night before so nice & fresh in the morning. The garden is lovely with plenty of tables & chairs to sit out. This really is a 5 star B&B from all aspects & we wouldn't stay anywhere else when in Brixham. Linda & Jo are the perfect hosts & such a delightful couple who do go the extra mile & a half for their guests. Perfect in every way!! Thanks again for our stay in Sept.  

Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Brixham!!

First time staying at Brookside and hopefully not last.  Cannot recommend this little jewel of a  guest house highly enough!
We were staying in Brixham over the weekend attending a friends wedding celebrations, we phoned ahead saying we would be arriving a late for check in on Friday due to work commitments. Joe and Linda couldn’t be more accommodating we we’re still greeted with a warm welcome and even given information about the local area.  The Brookside is gentle 10 minute walk into town, alternately you can catch the bus. Our room was spotlessly clean, well appointed with a little seating area, en suite shower room, toiletries and a really comfy bed.  Breakfast was an absolute treat, we’re just sorry we didn’t have chance to take advantage of the spa facilities, maybe next time!

A lovely guesthouse

So pleased we found Brookside. Excellent place to stay. The hosts, Joe and Linda, were lovely and very welcoming. The room was very nice and well-appointed. Good to have two comfortable chairs in the room as well. The breakfast menu is amazing and food really tasty.
Ideally placed for walking into Brixham,or easy to get the bus.
Certainly looking forward to returning in the near future.

A Lovely Find

We recently spent two nights at Brookside guest house. We were visiting family and it was the perfect location for us just down the road from Brixham Town. Linda and Joe were the perfect hosts, very friendly and full of information of what’s happening in and around the town. The whole properly was very clean and the room was perfect. They do breakfast perfectly, they ask you to order what you would like the night before which I thought was a great idea  as you get exactly what you want rather than just a bog standard tradition breakfast with food you don’t like. Loved every minute of our time there we would defiantly stay again when we’re next visiting family, Thanks Linda and Joe.

Lovely stay at Brookside guest house.

I've stayed at Brookside a couple of times now and hope to make this a regular base for my visits to Brixham. Linda and Joe are fantastic hosts, who are brilliant at balancing efficiency with friendliness. They are really welcoming and genuinely care that you enjoy your stay. They make sure that every small detail has been considered. I have only stayed in the single room with the separate, private bathroom, but both are spotlessly clean and the bed is very comfortable. I love the fact that the bedroom has a fridge with fresh milk and a sink. The cooked breakfast is the best I have had anywhere, ever. There is an extensive choice of food, which is cooked to perfection, hot and beautifully presented.

A lovely Guest House run by Joe and Linda, they were so very welcoming, we were greeted with hot drinks and a slice of home made cake whilst checking in. 
Joe took time to explain about the local area and things to see and  do while in Brixham. 
The room was very clean with a well stocked tea tray, fresh milk in the fridge was replenished upon request.
The bathroom had a good selection of toiletries and the bathrobes were an added bonus.
Breakfast was amazing and nothing was left to chance, completing a very detailed menu selection meant breakfast was a really great start to the day.
Brixham harbour is a short walk away and if needed the bus stops are just outside.
Regretfully we were only here for 2 nights so did not have the time to make use of the spa facilities.
Would definitely recommend a stay here if in the area, we will be returning.

Home from home

Thanks Joe and Lynda for a lovely mini break . You were both an absolute delight, your room was just perfect . tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for a perfect weekend away . Guest house is 30 second walk away from the bus stop to painton, Torquay etc and a 10 minute walk to Brixham Harbour . The breakfasts are amazing , great quality and tasty we recommend the eggs benadict,  bean special or the full English  .would highly recommend this establishment a cut above the rest .
