I have been returning here for many years now. The Moorings is now a slimmed down version but standards have not dropped. In fact the reverse. 
The lovely new residents lounge is fabulous. I think I can also say with a high degree of certainty that this is the home of the best breakfast in Blackpool!
Gynn Square is the perfect area to stay  being very quiet but with excellent tram links and walking to the lively Blackpool centre.
If you are looking for a warm, clean, comfortable hotel, with a great welcome from owners Phil and Elaine, then you will not be disappointed, With great value for money this is budget hoteling at its very best.  We had to contact the hotel directly for booking at the moment.

Yet another visit to our 'home from home'.

This was a first for me bringing the family up for a Blackpool trip during October half term. Normally it is friends for a football match.
We were 6 adults and 3 children ages from 3 to 10.
Phil and Elaine were the perfect hosts and everyone had a great time. Standards were as high as ever and I can't recommend the Moorings highly enough. Hope to be back soon with my regular group.
Thanks guys for looking after us all so well and making our stay a memorable one.

Family trip to Blackpool

Great BnB, not too far from the centre, but far enough for a relaxing stay. We have a new born baby and Phil was very helpful, he really can’t do enough for you. His breakfast is superb. Would return again.

Superb hosts

Was brilliant to come back to my 'second home' in Blackpool. 
Phil, Elaine and their lovely staff make sure that standards are as high as ever whilst delivering service with a smile. I have written reviews before and I cant praise this place highly enough. If you are looking for a warm comfortable friendly hotel with lovely food and great value for money  then this place is for you.
Gynn Square provides a quieter peaceful base with great transport links to explore Blackpool.

Back after an eighteen month Covid delay.

Just had 7 wonderful nights at the Moorings hotel everything was great the room was clean the food was awesome  and the price really good thanks Elaine and Phil and all the staff for making our stay special

A beautifully clean, comfortable and well appointed hotel, set in a nice position overlooking a small park and the promenade qbout 100 yards away.

The immaculate and very well made up room was most comfortable with a good double bed and a modestly sized but very adequate en suite bathroom.

Good  reception on a wall mounted TV, modern bedside night lights and conveniently placed bedside mains sockets.

The owners and staff were most welcoming and do a very efficient job with both daily maintenance and breakfast service, with breakfast having plenty of choices, not least the beautifully cooked, presented and well served full English which is also very substantial.

As for quiet...  two nights of total silence, just the way I like it!

Great 5 night stay at this property with my sister and our two teenage girls; owners make sure you have everything you need, comfortable rooms and lovely cooked breakfast every mornings . Tram is just across the road and a short ride to all the attractions. The beach is just across the road and there is the Gynn pub on the corner that serves food too. Would highly  recommend this hotel for the lovely owners,comfy rooms and location.

1st class service from such a lovely couple nothing is too much trouble , very clean and the food is beautiful you will never go away feeling hungry. Hotel is situated in a lovely position over looking the great gynn gardens,  we had a sea view room which was lovely to wake up to in on a morning . Thanks again for your great hospitality.

Great hotel

It's a record! My third trip to Blackpool in a year and my third visit to The Moorings.
I can only repeat what I have said previously, great hosts, great location, lovely food, warm, comfortable and clean hotel. Outstanding value for money. Worth a visit for the breakfasts alone. Special thanks to Phil, Elaine and their lovely staff. I will be back.

Excellent hosts and the food is excellent
