AVOID! me and my wife booked 3 weeks before ..we asked for e mail confirmation. Got nothing ..so I rung a week before they said yes all booked see you on 25th feb 2022 ..we  were 10 miles away on day of arrival they rung to say sorry fully booked!! Me and the wife were stranded as it was a half term.  The chances of getting a room was slim..She said a neuibour who runs a b.and b may have rooms ..luckily for us they had a room..it was a lovly b and we stayed at ..but seems its first come first serve basis at this b and b ..please avoid..

AVOID! WE WERE LEFT STRANDED!

Woke up to a freezing room because the heater was turned off at night, assuming they were trying to ramp up profits this way by reducing the heating bill. 

Breakfast served way too late in the day (After 9AM) - again I assume to save money for food from travellers wanting to leave earlier.

The bathroom is a really strange wet room - small and with black tiles.
No desk or table to prepare items - except for a small shelf on the side.

Mains plugs located right near the floor so the cable of your charging unit gets damaged trying to bend it. 

Usually I wouldn't complain that much, but for the price paid it's not acceptable.

Heater turned off overnight

We were given a parking permit to stay a few roads, away.
The room we stayed in was room 2, it was small but had  a good shower, there was a small built in wardrobe with a fan, heater and hot water bottle which you could use if needed plus, a hair dryer in the bedside table drawer. The bed was comfortable and made daily. Breakfast was good with cheese and coldmeats, fruit salad, cereals, and yogarts, croissant and toast plus tea, and coffee. No full english but was offered scrambled eggs and smoked salmon or beans and poached eggs on toast which were delicious and nicely presented. Our room was at the back. You could hear traffic but still had a good nights sleep. We both would stay here again.

Rita black

Fantastic location , 5 minutes walk to the centre . Free on street parking no problem. Great breakfast with lots of choice . Cosy room at the top . Quiet stay . Staff super friendly. The owner Rita was so lovely and down to earth . Definitely recommend

Fantastic stay

This property was significantly cheaper than the majority of other available establishments.

Located on a busy road but with easy access to the city centre by foot.

We had a twin room with our own shower room. Shower was good, TV worked and beds were comfy and clean. No the rooms aren't large but absolutely fine for the amount of time you spend in them.

Breakfast was good. Continental but with the added offer of scrambled or poached eggs.

All in all this possibly isn't a 4 star but I doubt anyone is paying 4 star prices. It's clean, in a good location with a nice breakfast option.

Perfectly adequate for a short stay

DO NOT STAY HERE!! What a rip off!! After advising the owner of our arrival time as requested we arrived to a very cold welcome and she acted as tho she wasn't expecting us and was very rude for no reason, rooms are stuffy and definitely not worth the price, breakfast was rubbish, despite pictures of a full English breakfast online, it was continental and it was not a good selection, definitely do not recommend staying here, on check out the owner had us waiting ages just to give her the key back even tho she could see us waiting she didn't come to check us out she just sent a maid to get our key, terrible service from start to finish, over priced and will not be returning!

Liked · Breakfast was tasty with good quality sausages, bacon and eggs and fresh granary toast (but no saute potatoes as advertised online). The breakfast room was light and airy and table settings socially distanced. On the first morning the lady serving was very pleasant and helpful.
Parking permit was included in B&B price and spaces available a very short walk away.

Disliked · Very small room with wood surround double bed which took up most of the space. Totally impractical and unsuitable as I still have a badly bruised toe five days later. If we hadn't wanted to explore Bath we'd have checked out after the first night.
On our first morning we were offered tea and coffee, toast & marmalade and a cooked breakfast which was all good. However, on the second morning we were offered cereal which my husband likes so he asked for Muesli which wasn't nearly as good as we have at home (store own brand!). I noticed on the website that a fresh fruit platter, homemade stewed fruits and yogurts are included, none of which were offered to us. The girl serving was very pleasant but didn't speak English too well resulting in a couple of incorrect items. Felt sorry for her as she appeared nervous. The owner was quite abrupt and not very welcoming. Needless to say we won't be returning!

Address not recognised by Google maps.Afera phone call to Rita we arrived to be given a frosty reception and parking permit.waited 40 minutes for a parking space, room allocated was small, later that night we flushed the toilet that overflowed all over the floor and into the bedroom, phoned Rita the response was, oh dear what shall we do, um it's your property sort it out, half hour later nheard nothing so phoned her again, said she couldn't get plumber,so what should she do!! No other rooms available,Rita didn't even bother to come and see what had happened.  so we were transferred by taxi to another hotel at 12.30am, we had to pay for the taxi.whole experience was not a happy one, but thanks to the holiday Inn for all their help.

What a lovely cosy and clean home from home.
Rita is a diamond. Who is always available to ensure your stay is a pleasant one.
She gives great tourist information and with assistance from her friendly staff, a superb breakfast to give you the best start to your day.
The free parking permit is perfect for parking locally on the fringe of the city, which is only ten minutes walk away, if that.
The room had all the mod cons you need. And importantly, a comfy bed, hot power shower, and clean towels. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate facility in your room if you want a nightcap.
Our three nights staying here helped to make our first visit to Bath a great memory to treasure. That and the Bath Christmas market. That is must for anyone in this country to experience themselves. 
We will definitely visit Bath again. And definitely stay here again. 
Value for money, it can’t just be beaten.

First time visit to Bath greatly helped by central position of Crescent GH, free parking, very useful information from our host and excellent breakfasts.
