221 reviewsThe entire tour of Khao Sok was awesome. At the welcome and orientation, every minute details were explained to us. All our queries were patiently listened and answered. The room was pretty good. The overall ambiance of the room was just perfect to feel its closeness to nature. What impressed us that there was no plastic in the room. Everything was made of wood and glass. Our first activity was Elephant Bathing program. It feels pretty amazing to be close to such a huge creature and the entire activity was well-organized and executed. Right from feeding the elephants to bathing to lunch everything was awesome. Next activity was Night Trek with our Guide: Kung. He is a fantastic human and very down-to-earth. He explained to us as many things as possible despite being not very good in English. His knowledge about wild insects and animals is appreciable. Please tell him that we saw snake during our canoeing tour. Day 2 was the most awesome and amazing day of our life as we went for an overnight lake tour. No words can explain the beauty of Cheow Lan Lake as it can only be experienced. One of the best days of our lives and will always be cherished for lifetime. Being vegetarian is tough, but the team ensured that we always have something to eat and not just something, something good and tasty. The jungle trek with a bit of rock climbing, kayaking, cave tour, animal spotting, etc. was were all enjoyable. Sleeping in a floating bungalow was very unique experience. The best part was to go back to Basic: Away from the world of Electronics and Internet. It just felt *NO WORDS*. I can go on and on and on. Those 3 days were the one of the best days of my life and will cherish those for entire life. Thank you very much Khao Sok Riverfront Team for everything :) :) :). P.S.: 1. Please do not expect luxurious things in the room or during activities especially during overnight lake tour. 2. We would have loved to come at a time when water levels in the river were better but its nature and out of human control.
